Nice and close to all the facilities

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Different
Cons: Pool gym and sauna would be good.
Location: Everything was near to the hotel - transport, food courts and tourist locations.
We were able to get food just outside the door. Close to the transport and Beauty spots.

Too expensive for the experience

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Too expensive for the rooms.
Location: We could walk to Darling Harbor. We took the free bus to bridge opera house area.
Old hotel, small room, no counter space in bathroom, odd layout.

Right in town.

Posted Mar 27, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Needs an upgrade, paintwork needs refreshing. It was a bit noisy, traffic, however, we still slept well.
Location: Plenty of pubs, cinemas, restaurants, theatres.Darling Harbour, The Rocks, Opera House, Harbour Bridge. Everything is in easy reach/walk to the hotel
Great location, reasonable cost, would stay again.

Clean, comfortable, lots of traffic noise.

Posted Mar 26, 2014
Cons: Double glazing on the windows to reduce traffic noise would be a worthwhile investment.
Location: Lots of eating places nearby and easy walk to Hyde Park, theatres, Darling Harbour, the Rocks.
Apart from difficulty sleeping with the traffic noise, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Location excellent.

Pleasant Surprises

Posted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: It is comfortable, clean and really central to Sydney and the theatres
Location: Very good. I am disabled so it is important to be close to the theatres that we are attending.
The staff knew that it was my birthday. I was greeted with "Happy birthday". A basket of fruit and chocolates were in my room. It made for a very pleasant stay.

A bit disappointing - hotel lift was really dirty

Posted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: Bed was comfortable!
Cons: The shower / bathroom was a bit weird...when you had a shower the whole bathroom was covered in water.
Room was really loud from the street so hardly slept.

Good Location

This hotel is at a good location in the city center. It is close to train lines which eases travel to and from airport. However it will nickle and dime you to death. WiFi is expensive and they even charge you to store your luggage. It is an older hotel which could do with some refurbishment. The bathroom is one of the smallest I have ever seen - be careful trying to close the door or you will injure your hand.
