Value for money in Sydney Centre

Posted Oct 18, 2014
Pros: Comfort, Convenience and Cleanliness.
Cons: The air conditioning unit in room 707 is extremely noisy and I was forced to turn it off and open the window which meant street noise.
Location: Location is central to all shops restaurants and transport
This week I had to attend a medical appointmentin Sydney and I booked in at the Park Regis Hotel in Park Street for ONE night only. I checked out next morning and went to see the Doctor who informed me that i needed an immediate operation and would have to extend my stay. I rang the Park Regis who courteously and sympathetically booked me back in. This same thing happened again the following day aftert the surgery and AGAIN the Staff at the hotel responded superbly. Led by Pranwoj on the fromnt desk the entire staff were marvellous. I cannot speak highly enough about these young people. I will certainly be using this comfortable, clean and convenient hotel in the future

Central location

Posted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: The central location
Cons: The sound proofing!
Location: Central. Queen Victoria building, Hyde Park, Pitt St Mall Darling Harbour
Friendly staff, who made the check in and out very smooth. The hotel is ideally located for easy access to Pitt Street Mall, Darling Harbour and a good walk to Circular Quay. The Town Hall station is a five minute walk away. We did need to buy earplugs after lots of sirens the first night.

Nice place, good location

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Location: Woolworths on the corner. The coffee shop next door. Train round the corner. Free 555 bus down road.
Nice place and friendly staff, in a good location to most things. Only minutes from museum train station. Good value for the money. Only negative thing we could say is road noise as only single glazed windows and we were on ninth floor of fourthy five.

It was a good-sized room with a comfortable bed.

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: It is a very handy location.
Cons: I missed the biscuits to go with a cup of tea.
Location: It is just around the corner from Pitt St mall and across the road from Hyde Park. Also a short walk to The Rocks or Darling Harbour.
It was a pleasant experience but when they next renovate perhaps double glazing should be considered as the traffic was a little noisy. However, the traffic wasn't a problem during the night.

Affordable Hotel in City Centre

Posted Oct 8, 2014
Pros: Close Proximity to the city centre.
Cons: I can't suggest anything that would improve it. The hotel room was clean. Perhaps softer pillows!! :)
Location: The hotel was close to the major shopping area of Sydney with all the big name shops. Fast food places and Woolworths were very close by.
Our stay was just overnight. The hotel location was very convenient close to shops, Darling Harbour and restaurants. The room was small but very adequate and clean. I liked that it was a secure building and staff were very helpful and polite.

Nice hotel but watch out for those rooms

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: Nice staff and clean.
Cons: Be a bit more upfront about the room sizes
Location: Great location in the centre of Sydney and you could easily walk to Darling Harbour or Circular Quay
The hotel itself was clean and the staff was pleasing. The room was the size of a shoe box and the door to the room did not open all the way as there was a desk behind it. From the Website the rooms all seemed adequately sized this was not the case. The room fit in a single wardrobe, queen bed and side table with a desk. The bed was pushed up against the wall to fit in the side table. Just beware that if you expect a decent sized room you may want to check first.

Conveniently situated to trains, Hyde Park, shops

Posted Oct 4, 2014
The room was very well set up - we had everything we needed for our stay. Unfortunately we found the room very uncomfortable as we were not able to use cooling. The hotel's heating/cooling was still set to heating mode. It was not winter, but spring, and the room was uncomfortable for sleeping. Thankfully we were able to open the window when using the room in the daytime, but this was not possible at night due to noise levels outside.

Small hotel

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Its was in an convenient area
Cons: the bathroom
Location: You can just walk from the train station and it was so close to ATM, woolworths, Mac Donalds and gloria jeans
It was cheap i guess for 3 nights for the amount i paid. It was good that the windows do open for some fresh air. only thing is the bathroom needs an update
