“Exceptional value; think tiny room, though”
Perfect location in the Chinatown/Hay Market area of Sydney. Able to walk to Darling Harbor. Close to train station for airport transfer. Clean rooms, just tiny. They have a lovely "common area" with newspapers, microwave, dishes & comfortable couches. We would return !

“Quirky But Fun”
The hotel easily met our most important requirements - clean and comfortable - but the room was... different. It seemed like an older building that had been extensively remodeled, and the room didn't have a single right angle in it. Reception was one floor up, not on the ground floor, could be challenging to find if you took a wrong turn in the hallways. Would we stay there again? Definitely yes.

Location safe & short walk to all tourist activities & cafes. Hotel was very old with small rooms but clean, price for Sydney was great.

“Great Location, Clean Rooms, Best Shower Anywhere”
Located in Chinatown, within walking distance to hundreds of great restaurants, the Sydney monorail, Darling Harbour, and Hyde Park. Rooms facing George Street are loud, and we were originally given a room that overlooked the second floor common area (which is also very loud). We requested another room and they were happy to accommodate us. Our new room on the 4th floor was MUCH quieter. Rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are modern and immaculate. The shower was fantastic -- large with excellent water pressure. I would definitely recommend this hotel and can't wait to go back.
“Best Budget Hotel!”
Hotel has a great location and is clean, modern, efficient and cheap. The only thing that let this hotel down is the Windows, they look great but they are in fact orginal style single pane glass, which doesn't keep the sounds of George street out as well as double glazing. Nothing a pair of ear plugs won't sort out.
“Has the basics”
Room was basic but clean. I was "upgraded" to a larger 3-bed room because of availability-they did not have a single. Location good for CBD/Chinatown...but building has an odd floorplan. 1 elevator was out of service which was awkward if you had luggage and had to use the stairs. May not be for some people who like consistency in a hotel layout(i.e. hotel chains).
