Clean, reasonably central and helpful staff. Bathroom flooded by shower stall. Drain not effective. My bed was not made up well, duvet not completely in its cover.

Parking was easy to access, however pricing is higher than advertised here so be aware. Parking lots are very small if you drive a SUV or MPV and low clearance - you will have to watch the boot when opened. Location is ok - light rail is close by, trains are on the corner of the block. Staff - very very polite and professional, even late in the night. Room size was ok, bathtub was super super huge and the kids loved in Kids liked the pool as well as it was up in the roof top 😆 Air con temp is adjustable but it was still freezing cold at night, no options for heater so be aware.

It's really disappointing to give such a great hotel with such great staff and facilities like it's gym and breakfast restaurant a rating below 5 stars. The TV service is just way below the standard it should be amongst everything else in the hotel. I came up from Melbourne to go to an AFL match, the team I follow was staying in the hotel, and a large range of channels weren't working including Fox Footy. Even if they were working, the TV service needs to be a lot better, it has fallen behind other high quality hotels in Sydney and sadly (given it is a really nice hotel with great staff) is enough difference for me to stay somewhere else.

Mini bar was ridiculous. Only little coffee cups. No decent coffee facilities. Ordinary room. A bottle of tap water provided only, not even the option to purchase water. Hate short sheeted beds. No movies or internet tv.

The hotel was close to the shops and tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. We will definitely be visiting the Pullman Hyde Park again soon 😊

Ideal for us as visiting museum exhibition. Also we like walking. So a comfortable walk to Opera House, Haymarket etc. Staff very accommodating to assist us with early check in and holding bags after check out. Thank you.☺️

Excellent customer service and nice lobby but this is not a 5 star hotel. Beds were comfy snd clean but carpets filthy and hallways carpet smelled and so walls damaged all thru. Pool is very inaccessible with no handrails and first step is very deep for someone with knee injury or a shorter person. Same for hot tub

Extremely disappointed. Booked the Junior suite expecting all the features usually attributed to a room of this name. Room was dated, furniture worn and had tears in material. Powerpoint in bedroom did not work. Lighting in room was poor. No USB outlets. Mould in bathroom around joints in tiles. Door was hanging off fridge cabinet. AC definitely was not working despite the thermostat saying the room was at 18.5 degrees. Would not recommend this hotel. My wife and I travel alot, one of the worst hotels we have stayed in. Lights out above reception desks and you could see the dust on the lights and other areas in the lobby. Had to wait ages for a lift and on our particular stay 'lift waiting' was a common complaint of others when you eventually got a lift. Not sure how this hotel has a 5 star rating.

After going to a nearby hotel that was so much worse than the photos indicated, we discovered Pullman. They were so welcoming and professional and the hotel itself was impeccable. I don't usually leave reviews, but we truly couldn't have asked for a better hotel. From the location, to the rooftop pool/gym, and the cleanliness, it was a 10 star experience. Pullman will definitely be my go-to hotel next time I'm in Sydney. 😃

Convenient location and nice roof top view but in need an upgrade as room and carpets are very dated. The strong stench of bleach when first entering is sickening, perhaps like other hotels have a nice scent going through rooms and common areas. Front desk staff are very slow and trying to order drinks using QR code from pool area was very difficult

This hotel is amazing on paper. Great location, 5 star, reputable name. In reality it needs more work to live up to that potential. The car park boom gates were a constant problem, lifts didnt work and didnt come to certain floors in the carpark basement - resulting in lots of fire stair treks. The rooms are nicely appointed however for 5 star i'd expect more. Very basic amenities, some missing (eg tea and coffee not refilled on arrival). Room was booked for 2 adults and 2 children however only 2 towels were provided. While these things are solvable it means the guest needs to "take on an action" - something that's not ideal when you're holidaying and expecting 5 - star facilities.

A little dated like most buildings in Sydney, but the little bruises aside, which could be fixed with a lick of paint, a snip and glue here and there, CONVENIENCE is the biggest plus point for the Pullman Hyde Park. Pullman Hyde Park is but a stone's throw away from Museum Station (which is the 5th or 6th stop from the airport). Since I had only 1 piece of half-filled luggage, I didn't mind the couple flights of stairs at Museum Station. If you have heavy luggage, and dependents, then best it is for you to get a cab from the airport to the hotel. Odd GRAB service disappeared from Australia, but I didn't need it. Around the corner is Oxford Street, where you will find a mile long of services, straight and gay bars, and clubs if you fancy kicking back a little. 5mins down down the side-street of Pullman's are pubs, cafes and Italian, Greek and Asian restaurants, all mostly pitched along Crown Street and the Darlinghurst. 👍 (Also, bus stops at Oxford Street is where you will find most of the busses that goes pretty much everywhere tourists would need, like Bondi Beach...) 10mins walking distance from the city's main shopping hub, the Queen Victoria Building Area and Westfield's, a good spread of city attractions, amazing cafes and restaurants, and Chinatown, where there's amazing good Asian food all around the Darling Harbour area (minus Indian). I would highly recommend Pullman Hyde Park, and I'd definitely be back.

Overall a lovely hotel with a great pool,spa and sauna. The bathtub in the room was also appreciated. I think the description “city views” is misleading. It implies a view of the cbd. The view from my room was a district view which would have been a more accurate description. When I questioned it with the guest service man he made that classic remark “ this is the first time someone has said this”, in other words I’m the problem not the marketing department.
