Hotel in National Park, close to manly.

Pros: Views, private beach, history of Q station
Cons: Some salads at breakfast. Shuttle bus was slow at times to come.
Location: Manly beach and walk to spit bridge.
Sometimes the room service was done to early, and my room missed out. Bins were full and needed emptying. The view was amazing , I would like windows with fresh air in rooms.

Camping ?

Pros: great location, most stafff were very helpful
Cons: Bathroom facitites
Location: located at North Head , therefore all the attractions of Manly
Most rooms have an external bathroom , some up to 25 meters away , reminded me of camping, rooms are very basic , however it was what I expected with a "historic " buildings

The rich history of this place whilst operating as a quarantine station for 150 years has been restored tastefully for everyone to enjoy and experience. The majority of the properties accommodation rooms have ensuited bathrooms and not the external private bathrooms that you stayed in and I apologise that this wasn’t explained. Peaceful place

Pros: location
Cons: Air conditioning - rooms very stuffy in the warmer weather.
Location: great to view the Harbour and to catch ferry.
Nice place for a quiet rest and peaceful time. Enjoyed the stay. However, I think in hot weather it could be quite stressful with no air conditioning.

Fantastic accommodation, staff and overall ecperi

We were impressed with q station immediately upon arrival. Staff went out of their way to ensure we were smoothly delivered from our water taxi to reception to our accommodation. We were really impressed with our room - clean, spacious with luxurious touches. We also spent some time on our balcony watching the waves. We had a fantastic meal at the Boilerhouse and enjoyed a history tour and ghost tour. We would recommend our stay to anyone and look forward to returning. The only downside was the noisy group of women who descended on the common area next to our room on both nights of our stay and were disrespectfully loud.

Interesting hotel

Pros: The history
This hotel (in a national park) has an interesting history but is not convenient if you don't have a car while there. We waited 45 minutes for a cab for a 10 minute trip to the Manly Wharf area and finally gave up an took the bus which has a stop a short walk away. It would be fine for someone wanting to get away from it all. Some rooms do not have en suite bathrooms and you have to use your room key to get to your private facility in a separate building. Rooms with an en suite bathroom cost more. I didn't see this noted on the Expedia site when I booked my room.

Location: Ferry trip to Watson's bay hotel for lunch
Q station is a lovely relaxing place to stay with so much history. The museum was great and the rooms were beautiful. Would definitely stay there again and would recomend to anyone looking for a couple of days to unwind while soaking in the views of Sydney harbour.

3 bedroom cottage is great!

This 3 bedroom cottage was great for the family just wish our stay was longer! The shuttle took us to the Cottage after a wedding on site. Cottage is so well set up, comfortable and had a magnificent view. This would be a perfect location for New Years Eve!!

perfect for our needs

We stayed overnight after our daughter's wedding and did not make it to the room until midnight. Location is magnificent and enjoyed walking to and from breakfast. Spectacular view!
