“This one is a winner in Sydney - locaton, service, the whole experience!”

The location is perhaps the finest at Circular Quay. We had a panoramic harbor and Sydney Harbor Bridge. The Opera House is about a block away. This location was only a few hundred meters from the trains and ferries so transportation was not a problem - a car would be a liability in Syndey. The room was clean and included a washer and dryer. The staff was very helpful our entire visit and very attentive to our needs. They make reservations at great local restaurants and generally make our visit one of the best we had. This hotel exceeded our expectations and we're looking forward to another stay soon.

Area recommendations

Lots to do in Sydney - it's a great walking city from Darling Harbour to the Opera House. Be sure to do the Bridge Climb and get some good eats at "The Rocks". The Botanical Gardens are impressive. The walk along the harbour with the Opera House as a backdrop is memorable. Be sure to take a little snack and enjoy the scenery and wildlife.

Getting around

Take the trains from the airport to downtown - they're convenient and fast. This is a good walking city and the ferries offer a unique opportunity to see the town from the many harbours. No need for a car in the city - taxis are reasonable if you need one from a train station. Felt very safe navigating around downtown and the Aussies are very friendly.

Must see

Do the bridge climb! We did the morning climb and it's great! Very safe and not scary even if you're afraid of heights. You're clipped to a cable next to you at all times. Breathtaking views!

“Perfect location”

The hotel was very nice, up to date decor, maintained extremely well. This is a high class condo bldg so it's also peoples home and a nice one at that. Perfect location next to the Opera House. the view is of the Harbour Bridge and the Circular Quay, I think better than of the Opera House itself. I would not hesiitate to return. Much better location than the Hyatt on the other side of the bay, because you are right next to the business district and a grocery store, food court, the ferry and the "Rocks" district. The Hyatt is right next to the Rocks and has an opera house view. Overrated in my mind compared to the convenience of being next to the ferry, train and busses. The Harbour view is a must.

Area recommendations

Rocks for some food and drinks, more of the party seen, well behaved though Bondi for some beach time and nice walk Manly Bay for more seaside shopping, good breakfast cafes and nice beach Paddington for restaurants and the market Luna Park for some old time carnival fun Blue Mountains for some horse back riding and nice mountain villages to visit

“a comfortable hotel”

i stayed here for one night recently , beautiful weather. The view over the harbour is amazing and very close to city and park. the rooms are very comfortable and well designed.
