“Wonderful”

My daughter and I spent a week at Quay West in June 2009. We both loved it!(In fact, neither of us wanted to leave :). Unfortunately, we couldn't quite afford a harbour view room, therefore, we made the most of the spectacular view from the pool area. Speaking of the pool-FANTASTIC. The location of Quay West was also brilliant. I loved pretty much everything about this hotel with minimal recommendations (to the hotel) ...these being - More warmth from Reception Staff, more staff on Sunday check-out time, and cleaned apartments daily - not just tidied. On a lighter note...Finest compliments to Wayan - our Concierge, for which nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return to Quay West!

“Excellent but......”

The position of this hotel is fantastic for the Quay and Sydney Opera House. the views are superb, and the rooms comfortable and all amenities provided. BEWARE the parking centre in the same building HAS NOTHING TO DO with the apartments. I got caught by this, but the management have been very helpful , after I complained. The apartments are quite reasonably priced but you don't get this kind of view for pennies! The fact that these are self-catering apartments means you can save on the food bills while living in luxury!

My family and i highly recommend this hotel,we arrived at the hotel at nine in the morning and even though we were not supposed to check in until the after noon the staff arranged for the apartment to be serviced straight away and within an half hour we were unpacking our bags and getting ready to go and sight see.the rooms are of a very high standard and i could not fault how the staff went about their job(very professional).The facialties were great and keep in great order,We could not ask for a better location,All of the harbour and the rocks area at your front door,the room we had gave a full view of the opera house,the bridge,luna park and many other attractions.We will return.

Staff was great and nice place if you have kids and want to be comfortable and close to action but not right in it.

What a place. This hotel/apartment had everything that you would need. The room had great views and the location was great. We could not have asked for a better choice.

“Absolutely lovely experience”

Our stay at the Quay West Suites in Sydney couldn't have been better. We travelled with a small child which always has it's challenges but the hotel was very accommodating, letting us in to our room a few hours before the normal check in time. The location is absolutely great with the ferries, Opera House and Botanical Gardens at your front door. We had visitors from overseas and they loved it - the views are priceless! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would defintely go back!

“One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had”

Fantastic! Easily one of the best hotel rooms I have ever stayed in: views were unbelievable, furnishings were fantastic, huge room, etc. We were upgraded to a "penthouse" class room (there are apparantly many such rooms in the hotel) and the view of Sydney was unbelievable. We had a 270-degree panorama from the Harbor Bridge all the was past the Opera to the Bondi headlands. The room was immense and well-furnished. Breakfast was an extremely well-presented buffet - extremely tasteful (and tasty). This hotel is right in the Rocks, so it is well-situated for tourists.

“Great location and service”

They arranged for early check-in which was fantastic since we had been on a plane for 20 hours. The breakfast was great, especially the price if you pre-paid. Location was awesome, easy walk to the ferries, shopping, mueseums, food, etc. The staff was VERY helpful, including arranging for a car with Avis, directions and advice. I would return to this facility, NO QUESTION.
