Beautiful bathroom with classic fixtures, comfy bed and great soundproofing (something many newer hotels seem to overlook).

Pros: Central location. Clean, secure, comfortable bed. Nice pool and whirlpool.
Cons: Wifi did not work. Windows seem to be single glazed, therefore traffic noise can be heard - though the surrounding streets were quiet during the night
Location: Close to Circular Quay (good for transport e.g. airport link, ferries) and The Rocks with its restaurants/bars.
Expensive hotel close to Circular Quay with its good transport links. Clean, secure. Comfortable bed. Nice pool and whirlpool. Wifi did not work - planned outage of 2 hours extended throughout the night and into the next morning, was still extremely slow when we left. On arrival, the room swipe cards were not available due to technical problems, which turned out to be problematic when I ventured out to inspect the pool just to realise that I needed the swipe card both to enter the pool area and the elevator to return to my floor!

We had a wonderful time staying in Sydney at Radisson Blu and I would definitely stay there again in the future.

Pros: For us the location is important and we have tried other hotels in the area but have found this to be the best.
Location: Within walking distance of most tourist attractions and shops.
A comfortable central CBD hotel within walking distance of most tourist attractions and great for the Recital Hall at Angel Place. Helpful staff, spacious room and bathroom, good bar food and drinks - what more could anyone want?

This is not a hotel I would usually find in my price range so I was delighted with a special deal. And I was not disappointed. The hotel entirely lives up to its five star reputation: it is well appointed, and staffed by attentive, courteous and friendly staff who actually appear interested in meeting guest requests. All right, the room did not have a view but that meant little because we were so absorbed in enjoying all the little extra touches: a choice of pillow types, a magnifying mirror in the bathroom, a huge deep bath and a separate shower, air conditioning that whispered rather than clanked and rattled. All up I was thoroughly satisfied.

Very nice hotel in downtown Sydney. The very accommodating staff gave us a room even though we arrived at 8am after our overnight flight from LA. Our room was very well appointed and much larger than we expected for a city center hotel in an old building. The beds were qute comfortable and all in all we had a pleasant stay. The location can't be beat!

Cons: everything about this hotel can be improved
This is not a hotel for experienced travellers. Being lied to by staff who engage in deceptive practices is not acceptable in any business. This hotel has enough problems and cant afford to be unprofessional or discourteous to its customers. There are better hotels available for less and I highly recommend you avoid this one. One of our worst travel experiences ever.

Location: Very ideal. Close to Harbour and shops. Museums, The Rocks and Art Galleries.
We loved the Radisson Blue. The service was exceptional. Staff could not be better. Facilities great e.g. swimming pool and gym. Stayed in the Business Area which is great - lovely breakfast, sandwiches during the day and fruit etc. and evening canapés with wines. The Nespresso coffee machine in our room was just wonderful. Staff go out of their way to be of assistance and all are so friendly which makes the stay so special.

Arrived hotel in the early morning after coming back from the cruise, staff helped us arrange everything, checked in. We left luggages in the hotel till mid afternoon after checking out, they helped us put luggages to a texi when we left. Very good customer services.
