Radisson Hotel and Suites SydneyPosted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: Great room sizes and pleasant staff
Cons: The bath/shower arrangement is awkward to get into and exit , some form of wall mounted grip would assist.
Location: Perfect location for restaurants and handy to Chinatown and Darling Harbour.
Our first night was spent on the Liverpool Street side on the second floor, the traffic and street noise was very loud and made sleep impossible till about 5am in the morning. We mentioned this to the staff as we left the hotel the next day and they moved us to a slightly smaller room on the 6th floor. We spent the next 4 days enjoying peace and quiet and great sleeping. Every thing about our stay was really pleasant, The staff were excellent, the rooms were spacious, and the location perfect. We will stay there again next time we visit Sydney.

Great room and location for family of 5.Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: I liked the location, staff, cleanliness, amenities, and value we received.
Location: Great location. Just a five minute walk to Darling Harbour which was a favorite spot for the entire family.
The Radisson was a great hotel. The location was convenient, the staff was excellent, and the room was large enough for my family of five. The indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub were the perfect place to hang out and wind down at the end of the day. This was a great hotel at a great price.

So close to the city attractions.Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: Initially the location and price were the drawcards to picking this hotel, comfort, restaurant and the staff added to the experience.
Cons: Problem with one of the lifts on the day of checkout - would suggest turning the lift OFF until the repair are done.
Location: Close to town hall & museums railway stations. Movie theatre around the corner. Also very close to darling habour.
Stayed for 2 nights in early September, room was on 8th floor, check-in a breeze and reception staff were always helpful with maps, directions to stations and getting extra things for the room (ice for drinks and knives to have a few snacks). Ate in the restaurant on the 2nd night - sticky date pudding was delicious! Minor problem with the lift not working on the day of checkout but housekeeping staff were able to sort and get us down to the ground floor. Would definitely stay again!!

Right in City, OK Bang for BuckPosted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: Right in the city, short walk from Chinatown restaurants (the main reason to go to Sydney, really), and transit to other sites.
Cons: The room had a kitchen with stovetop, but no pots, pans, plates, or anything beyond two teacups. Who brings that stuff on a vacation? Provide it!
Overall was pretty happy with the hotel, given how expensive touring Sydney can be they had relatively fairly priced services. The room was very clean and spacious, quite nice overall, but had a tiny water heater in the room (rather than centrally heated water), which meant that in the middle of one shower the hot water ran out. The staff was very considerate and understanding and made it up with a reasonable offer, so the service was very good. Free internet for three devices, which I wasn't expecting given the information on this website which said it was for pay only, that was a nice surprise. Parking is expensive, but for valet parking in the city center it is actually pretty good. Overall it's probably a fair deal for what they gave, but unless you have to be right in the city center, you might as well get a cheaper place next to a metro line further away.

Central location, comfortable stay.Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Very convenient and closed to China Town and Darling Harbour. Staffs were helpful and friendly.
Cons: Perhaps microwave in the room but so many nice restaurants close by, this is not really a deal breaker.
Location: Closed to Darling Harbour, china town and Paddy market and only 2 minutes from George St.
Please with location of hotel, very central. Staff's very friendly and helpful. Room's very spacious, clean and comfortable.

Good value and plenty of roomPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Well presented , but not as formal as the big hotels. Good staff and very close to everything.
Cons: Perhaps the bar and restaurant were a little austere, but that was all.
Location: Darling Harbour, Cockle Bay, shops , lots of restaurants, pubs , clubs and night life.
We were here for four nights. The staff were great, nothing was too much trouble and all requests were attended to straight away. The suite was very comfortable and we had plenty of room. The hotel is in a great location, close to Town Hall station, and hundreds of restaurants. Night life is very active but not at all noisy. Very close to Darling Harbour, just a block and a bridge away. We would stay there again.

Great room and hotelPosted Sep 7, 2014
The hotel itself was near to everything. So you could walk to all main attractions. Room was clean and staff were great. The only issue was for the amount of money I paid for the room, the view of the balcony was terrible. You literary can't sit outside. I can't even describe how terrible it was. So will definitely not stay here next year.

Nice Hotel close location to all Sydney highlightsPosted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Location and Staff
Cons: It could be taken to excellent by a little maintenance items being tidied up eg: holes in tiles
The staff were very accomodating and pleasant, nothing was a problem. Came back to the room being spotless everyday which was great...Because we had a room with a kitchenette would of been nice for this to fully stocked and not have to ask for the equipment.

Excellent ExperiencePosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness of hotel & room. Room comfortable for our family of 4 adults and all our luggage. Met all our requirements ie. safe, kitchenette, WIFI.
Location: Close to Darling Harbour & shopping. Free public shuttle bus (#555) to Sydney Bridge, Opera House and Wharf for ferries to Manly and Bondi beaches.
We had a great time in Sydney. Very beautiful city with so much to do and see. Did the Bridge Climb - a must do. Only there for 3 days so we will be returning to see what was missed.
