so close to Darling HarbourPosted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: the Location to the Darling Harbour and walk to Zara and other favourite shops was not too unbearable. The free internet access was excellent.
Cons: Just needs up dating.
Location: Darling Harbour the café Taste was excellent and lovely selection of fresh fruit with Muesili. Not far to Pitt street shops.
Yes this was such a great spot and so close to all the spots we like to go to. Quiet in room even though near busy places. Lots of cupboards and shelves if self catering. We were not this time.

Long weekendPosted Apr 17, 2014
Cons: Taps and fittings need updating.
Location: Walking distance to Darling Habour and on the doorstep to Chinatown.
Nice hotel, great location! Bathroom getting a little tired. Drinks at the bar really slow, not sure if they are full trained. Staff overall very polite and courteous.

Two nights at the RadissonPosted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: The space in the room was great, large clean room. The addition of a small stool and a vanity mirror/ make-up area in the bathroom was great.
Cons: Towels were a little old and worn out and the room could benefit from an small bed side clock/speaker with a smartphone dock/charger.
Location: The location is fantastic a short walk to Darling Harbour and China Town. Close to the large shopping areas of Sydney.
Great experience - Front desk were polite and efficient. The hotel was in good condition in terms of decoration. We were on the 7th floor and found it quiet and could hardly hear any road noise from below. The room was large and comfortable with a good sized bathroom and galley kitchen. The large bathroom with the addition of a sitting area and mirrors was a really nice addition. The pool, spa and sauna is a nice addition to a central Sydney Hotel and the room cleaning staff were polite and did a good job. Overall it was a great hotel for a short stay in Sydney.

Run-down hotel in awful areaPosted Apr 14, 2014
Cons: Complete overhall only.
Location: Appalling, smelly degenerate surroundings, so we were unable to do anything but get to the nearest bus or train and get out.
We were really disappointed in the ambiance and surroundings of the hotel. Our view from the window was of a deserted swimming pool and "grass" area with awful brown potholes, and the surrounding housing with washing hanging out in most. This was reminiscent of Labanon, which had had many years of war.The hotel bar and restaurant were very shabby and we decided not to eat there; however we had a glass of wine, which was the smallest measure ever experienced. On asking the waiter as to the actual volume, he told us it was between 100 and 110 ml, and this was because the hotel was small and savings had to be made. He also told us that the top floors were let out to dozens of people per room and that it was probably unsafe. That reassured us! We were glad to leave after 2 nights.

Great location and near Darling HarborPosted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: Location, staff and oasis of quiet in bustling part of the city. Lots near by and public transportation easy from this location.
Cons: Some noise but to be expected in a hotel. Perhaps a soundproof door would help.
Location: You are in the heart of the city - enjoy,
Very comfortable venue with exceedingly responsive and competent staff. Complimentary WiFi was very appreciated.

Good hotel but a bit tiredPosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Location, size of rooms, capable staff
Cons: Hotel needs renovation, particularly bathrooms, lot of street noise kept us up.
Location: Darling Harbor quite close -- great restaurants and easy access via ferry to Opera House, zoo, etc.
We were excited about staying in a 5 star hotel in Sydney, and though we appreciated being in a Radisson and enjoyed the location and room size, it was clear that the hotel had aged a bit and that the overall room design was a little tired and the overall feel of the hotel was not what I would typically expect from a Radisson. Hotel staff were friendly though when we arrived there were no bellmen so we had to schlepp our own bags, with the help of an overworked front desk person. They were quite ready with a crib for our three year old which was nice and the front office staff was always accommodating and helpful. OK but not spectacular, especially for the price.

Awesome location to everything!Posted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: Big rooms with own kitchenette
Cons: Cleaners start time
Greatly located close to Darling Harbour and still in walking distance to great shopping and Circular Quay! Weekend cleaners started too early but other than that all other staff friendly and helpful.

excellent location, close to shops, sights, cafesPosted Mar 25, 2014
Pros: comfortable beds, good location, reasonable rates, good bathrooms, speedy elevators
Cons: better wifi, note on room phone what number to dial for front desk - it's not written anywhere in room, know something about the area
Location: Darling Harbour just minutes away with lots of bars and restaurants - though nothing vegetarian excellent shopping just up past Town Hall 5 min away
with one exception - stayed there on 3 different occasions - room was very clean and comfortable, most front desk staff very pleasant and helpful with the odd exception. Particularly helpful was the man at front desk late afternoon of March 19 - short man with dark hair, v dark hair and light brown complexion who dealt with a couple of issues very quickly and efficiently; also a young Asian woman at front desk was very helpful and happy to go out of her way to make sure you were happy and was willing to look for the closest pharmacy for me. Much appreciated. Blonde woman first arrival late morning of March 3 was a bit of an officious pain and not the most pleasant way to begin our visit to Australia

A very pleasant and well located hotel.Posted Mar 22, 2014
Pros: The location & the very helpful and efficient staff.
Cons: Ensure the plastic crate containing cooking & eating utensils is checked for cleanliness & odours before delivering it for the next guest to use it.
Location: Walking distance to theatre cinema china town paddies market restaurants pub quay shops & free bus stop for those who don't like to walk more than1 km
We stayed 3 nights midweek so perhaps that contributed to the quietness of our room, the street noise was also low even though it was a busy thoroughfare. The staff were very helpful and efficient. We had a very pleasant stay indeed.
