Parking Facilities

Cons: refurbishment,a like of paint
Location: good location near beach,cafes,clubs ect
We were disappointed about parking as I was told at recepition that I should have booked a space. I wasn't aware of this. I was advised to park out on the street.Which we did but the only park we could find was down at the main beach area. This was only a short walk.But for a place like Rydes I expected at least a parking space at your hotel. I suggest your hotel looks into this matter urgently NOT HAPPY CAMPER!!!!!

Pros: It was close to all the amenities .. Shops, beach and public transport
I found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. The no smoking rule on all balconies was a little harsh

Wonderful staff, lovely large room, fabulous view

Pros: large room with balcony and view.
Location: the boardwalk along the beach is a minute from the hotel, its fantastic. Nearby cafes and restaurants are great.
The ocean view room was large, with a lovely sunny aspect, a balcony, and fantastic view. The staff were all wonderful. Friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel is in a great position, and the lobby restaurant and seating is modern, clean and friendly. The car park is excellent

Location: Brass monkey is fabulous
Rooms are dated and not worth the tariff you pay. Breakfast quality is good but poorly executed. Shortage of staff to replace bowls, bread etc is very evident.

room was cold could not get heater to work

we live locally house was being fixed after storm it was 2 cold and wet days and could not get room warm restaurant was good staff were good , also not being youngsters hate having to climb into bath to have shower

Nice hotel with great ocean views

Pros: View, location and room size
Cons: A bottle of milk rather than individual little pots
Location: Great location!
We arrived early and were really pleased to be able to get straight into our room. The room was well sized, clean, modern with lovely ocean views from our balcony.

Absolutely dreadful.

Pros: The location and views.
Cons: The room we stayed in needs to be completely renovated.
Location: Great views of the beach and there are many restaurants near by. Highly recommend Sea level restaurant. Great food, service and views.
The curtains in the room were torn, the bathroom had mould and cracked tiles. The walls were cracked and badly in need of repair. The carpet was very worn. The hotel has great views but is in a bad state of disrepair. Certainly did not expect that from a Rydges hotel. For the price paid the room was in very poor condition. I have never stayed in a hotel room that has torn curtains and cracked tiles with mould in the bathroom. The shower leaked water all over the floor. The soaps and other amenties were good.

Nice stay but rooms need work.

Room was quiet. Bed very comfortable. But room smelt mouldy, paint falling of celling from water leaking, bathroom fan didn't work and desk light broken. Felt that because we booked through hotels.com.au we got put in their oldest least popular room. Expected better at the room rate.
