Near the CBDPosted Jun 19, 2015
Location: There is not much to do near the hotel. It is close to some of the trouble spots in Sydney.
I stayed at the hotel for 6 days. The rooms are comfortable - can do with a little bit of up keep. Very thin walls so the rooms can get a little noisy, esp if you have a noisy neighbour. The biggest issue is that the hotel is near a railway line and you can hear the trains going by. The road below can get a little noisy, so a room on the higher floor is recommended. In room dining options are limited and expensive. Breakfast is good.

Check in was easy, staff very helpful and friendly . Stored our luggage so we could run around Sydney until room was ready. Allowed us to Check in early. Room was nice, clean, beds were comfortable. Easy check out. great location to subway, Chinatown, paddy's market. We walked to royal gardens from hotel in about 20 mins. Beautiful city. Iced walking through parks along the way.

Internet problemsPosted Jun 7, 2015
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable
Cons: Ensure net cables and instructions are operational and comprehensive
Location: No comment
Internet cable in room was broken and details for connecting to net was lacking in detail for an easy method to get connected.

This hotel is the best hotel I've stayed at.Posted May 31, 2015
The hotel staff were helpfull all throughout my stay. The room was always kept clean every day. The best part about this hotel is that transportation is very accessible. Central station is only 2 blocks away, and the taxi is always there, if not, you can ask for one in te lobby and they'll call one for you. The only issue was that on my last day, the cleaning staff didn't clean my room when I arrive at 3:00 pm so I had to notify the lobby staff and they quickly fixed the issue and cleaned it by 3:30 pm. Oh and the weights and cables machine at the gym needs improvements. Overall, I would stay there again next time I visity Sydney!

Hotel close to transportPosted May 28, 2015
Recently spent 6 days in Sydney and stayed here. It was conveniently located within easy walking distance to the train station and the facilities were great. My room was clean, quiet and I enjoyed plenty of sunshine in a spacious room. I enjoyed using the hotel pool and Spa and definitely the free wifi. Staff were helpful and even gave me suggestions to find a good coffee shop nearby.

Great find close to the Capital TheatrePosted May 25, 2015
Pros: see above...
Cons: Nothing. I was even offered 1/2 price to stay an additional night. If I could have changed my flight I would have stayed.
Location: Crown St restaurants, close to train and theatre, shopping; the lot.
My daughter and I spent the weekend in Sydney last week as we had tickets to Les Miserable. This hotel ticked all the boxes. So close to the train station and walking distance to the theatre, restaurants etc. Great out of the way restaurants to be discovered in the area. Staff at the hotel were amazing. Its been a long time since I've had customer service like that. The ability to pre-check in and late check out time made the experience even better. I think considering the outrageous hotel prices in Sydney we lucked out big time and I will not hesitate to return on my next visit.

Nice hotel great locationPosted May 21, 2015
A full length mirror, toothpaste and a bathroom fan would have made the experience 100% everything else was great :) staff were lovely aswell. Location was perfect. One other thing don't walk around your room naked pretty sure the windows aren't tinted from the outside ;)

A brief but relaxing breakPosted May 21, 2015
The location, staff, ammenities and overall presentation was perfect. The parking was a little stiff but tolerable. Yes, I would select this as a permanent option.

Excellent stayPosted May 21, 2015
Pros: Central location and friendly staff
Cons: Room Service food menu could be a little cheaper.
Location: Central railway station located a short walk, Paddy's market, George Street shopping.
We stayed at the Rydges Central for 4 days/3 nights. Staff were very friendly and helpful (they assisted us to print tickets off for a Fashion Show and helped book the Sydney Harbour Bridge climb). Rooms were very clean. Overall a great place to stay! Will definitely stay there again if we travel back to Sydney.
