Excellent stayPosted Jan 21, 2015
We only stayed one night to finish off our honeymoon in Australia and we are so pleased we choose here, the service was first rate, the room so clean and well maintained and the views amazing. If we had one small issue it would be that they open the blu bar on the top floor to the public which meant as a guest we couldn't just relax and enjoy a quiet drink and the view as it was so busy with non guests.

Fantastic hotel, servicePosted Jan 20, 2015
Stayed for boyfriend's birthday. Walked into room to find a chocolate gateaux and macaron with Happy Birthday inscribed. Lovely touch. Fantastic views, flawless service, comfortable bed and pillow. Good sound system with TV, speakers in the bathroom. Full sized bath tub and the best shower head I have ever experienced.

A nice hotel in The Rocks areaPosted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: We liked the luxury room, great location, and friendly staff.
Location: A good location, especially for tourists, with only a short walk down to the quays and shops. Also easy access to both water and land transport.
We stayed for one day and night while in transit. We had a suite on the 35th floor) which was a good size, and included a large well appointed bathroom. The suite was well appointed and very clean. The suite had a panoramic view looking out over the Opera house, Circular Quay, harbour bridge, and the passenger terminal The staff were both efficient and courteous, and we could not fault them. We would certainly stay there again. Like most hotels, the meals are typically expensive, so for the budget concious it would pay to eat at one of the many eateries which are close by.

Excellent Hotel in great locationPosted Jan 18, 2015
This was fabulous hotel for our first stay/visit to Sydney. We had a Darling Harbour view room on the 23rd floor. The room and facilities were great and the staff were really helpful. The hotel is in a great location in the Rocks close to the Harbour Bridge and Circukar Quay.

高台にあるので、景色が綺麗！Posted Jan 17, 2015

Room cleaninessPosted Jan 12, 2015
Was disappointed with dirty mirrors and the bathroom still had the previous guest hygiene products. It hadn't been cleaned correctly

Nice hotel with hypnotic views of circular quayPosted Jan 10, 2015
visits to the horizon lounge were so relaxing. Would sit and watch the boats. Breakfasts and Canapés yummy. Service very personal and accomodating. 24hr room service an absolute hit. Food and service great.

Nice schmoozePosted Jan 9, 2015
Pros: The view was great, the staff made a point of being friendly, and there were some nice extras like larger size soap, slippers, and buckwheat pillows.
Cons: The pool was in need of maintenance - badly peeling paint, probably could have done with refurbishment. Just a minor thing overall though.
Location: Very handy to the Rocks - great choices for food and evening walks.
Had a great time just schmoozing round for 2 days. As a relative local, I have seen all the sights before, and my purpose was just to hang out somewhere nice with a harbour view for a few days. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wonderful staff (except at the Altitude bar)Posted Jan 5, 2015
Cons: The training of the staff at the Altitude bar.
The Shangri-La is wonderful: it's location, cleanliness, workout facilities, and staff were all top-rate. The only sour note was a visit to the Altitude bar on the top floor of the hotel. Staff there were disorganized and borderline rude (and much younger than the rest of the hotel staff, so maybe inexperience was part of the problem). Down at the concierge desk and hotel check-in, staff were extremely helpful in recovering luggage from the airlines. They also helped plan excursions and were generally really cheerful and helpful. We would stay at the Shangri-La again in a heartbeat!
