Wonderful Hotel on Hyde ParkPosted Dec 14, 2014
Cons: A casual dinning room for breakfast, that opens at 7am for business people.
Location: Very close to David Jones, Myer and Pitt Street.
The rooms are lovely, the staff always helpful and go out of their way to help you. I was very impressed with my standard room, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom included a full size bath and separate shower so I was happy.

Over priced. Staff in first floor bar and front reception clearly not happy people and unpleasant.

Big picture good, slip-ups on detailPosted Nov 27, 2014
Pros: Location is outstanding.
Cons: TV service is basic (very little Foxtel generally and no Sky News in particular).
Location: Ideal for shopping and also good for the business district.
Sheraton On The Park is a very good hotel in a great location. However, on this return visit, there were some worrying slip-ups to pull it down a little. Our room had no hair-dryer, there were no coffee sachets supplied and the bulky duvets supplied for the twin beds were both too large and too heavy for a comfortable sleep on a warm November night in Sydney. Sure, we could have complained and doubtless had all these things rectified, but at a hotel rated as one of Sydney's very best it should not be necessary for guests to have to chase the staff get simple things like this put right.

Nice 5 star hotel a few minor comfort issuesPosted Nov 25, 2014
The hotel is very nice and has all the 5 star features however I didn't find the sleep quality all that good in a City view room, the blinds didn't black out completely and the office/apartment block across road had lights on until late. Also the pillows were a little bit uncomfortable and it got quite cold in night & couldn't find any extra bedding? The pool and spa area was extremely nice. The bar area was also nice but the drink ice was joined together from the ice tray. Parking was $55 per night or $65 if valet. Location very handy to David Jones food hall and city shops.
