I only needed to stay 1 night. For this purpose the lodgings suited me adequately. The hotel is situated in a quiet and peaceful area, close to the local town or business district. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a good experience and wouldn't mind staying there again.

Wonderful, friendly staff

terrific stay. Comfortable beds. The receptionist went out of her way to make the ironing facilities available to me at a time that suited me. We stayed in a wonderfully large room with a very high ceiling which was delightful. The only difficulty which does not relate to the accommodation itself is that it was not easy to find a car park in the crowded streets after returning late in the evening. We didn't have trouble finding a close car park through the day though. We would be very happy to stay there again should we be in the area.

Honest, amiable, practical: close to coogee beach

Posted Feb 25, 2015
This is a great for hotel/hostal for the price.. It is 10 minutes walk to the Randwick's commercial Area and 15 minute walk from Coogee. 5 minute walk to bus stop (374: Coogee Beach <-> Circular Quay-Opera House). The Lady in the front is knowledgeable of Sydney and a great resource for low priced high quality shopping. The entire staff was amiable and adaptable to my circumstances. Very honest place, I knew my belongings were safe with them. Absolutely a place to comeback to.

Pros: Nice courtyard and exterior garden to sit in and relax. Hotel provided a common kitchen area and some free breakfast food.
Cons: Provide more towels and toiletries; upgrade the shower and the air conditioner/overhead fan.
Location: The hotel is not close to shopping, restaurants and Coogee Beach, despite what the hotel summary indicates.
We chose this hotel for its lower rates during a stay during high season in Sydney. It's billed as a quaint type of boutique hotel, but in reality offers cramped and uncomfortable rooms.

Inconvenient position for us

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: Nice and clean
Location: We didn't have a car and found it very isolated
Pleasant stay but not in the right area for us. That's all I want to say

The room was clean but there was a cockaroch in the room. Location is too far from city.
