The hotel was not bad but not good.Posted Jan 17, 2015
The staff were nice and friendly but the room was not clean. There was bugs coming out from open walls in bathroom. The carpet looked like they dont really vacuum it. The beds sheets dont get changed everyday. The location isn't the safest place but it's close to the bus stations which is good. Overall in my experience I would give this hotel a 3 out of 10.

Excellent location and a fine establishmentPosted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Location, friendly and helpful staff (priceless), cleanliness.
Cons: Maintenance issues mentioned above should have been taken care off long ago.
Location: Awesome location. Just off the main intersection but close enough to it all. Sydney public transportation is awesome.
I was very please with everything at the Bayswater Sydney. Located a short walk from Kings Cross subway station, really awesome restaurants and night clubs. The mattress was a little firmer than I'm used to but fine. There were a few maintenance items that I had to notify the staff about: lamp bulb burned out. Closet door hinge needing repair. Shower door hinge falling off. The staff went way overboard to help us book some excursions and reschedule tickets that I had already bought for the Opera House. In the evening and early morning you can hear the subway trains as they pass under the motel. It's a faint rumble like thunder off in the distance. I'm pretty sure that the trains stop at 11pm and don't start up until like 5am so it wasn't a significant issue for me... just a slight bother in the mornings.

good central hotel, and quietPosted Dec 7, 2014
Pros: simple, clean, quiet being in the busy location of Kings Cross
Cons: the king room should not be billed at that, as the photos looked a lot roomier. more storage and a bench to utilise kettle, making facilities
although it was king room, it was a bit to compact for that status, very small bathroom and lack of storage.

Overall a very enjoyable stay. Nice and comfy king size bed. Friendly staff. The location of the hotel is great as well. 5 mins walk to Kings cross station and bus stop right outside the hotel where buses go to circular quay.

Günstiges Hotel im AusgehviertelPosted Nov 6, 2014
Pros: Top Lage, sehr sauber, freundliches Personal

Pros: Moderne Einrichtung, Lage, Sauberkeit

Modern hotel close to the centrePosted Oct 30, 2014
Pros: -location -value -friendly staff
I very much enjoyed my stay in the hotel. The reception staff were accommodating, allowing me to check-in early after my long-haul flight and the room was very spacious with a great bathroom and a desk/work station. The only thing I didn't really like was that there was no downstairs waiting area, instead up on the 9th floor, so one day I was there it was a bit crazy with about 10 people "sleeping" and lying around in the corridor space which made it feel a bit cramped and a mess. However I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends, in fact I already have done!

Perfect Sydney locationPosted Oct 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
I love this hotel - yes, it is a bit daggy and more towards the budget style of accommodation, but the service is second to none - the staff are really helpful and friendly, and it has a certain style that lets it sit comfortably in it's neighbourhood in Potts Point, on the cusp of Kings Cross. The beds and pillows could do with updating, but the rooms are quite spacious as far as Sydney ones go (definitely worth going for the larger rooms here) and best of all the location is the best in Sydney for walkability scores. It is easy to get into the city, either if you must drive, or by walking straight down William Street. There are cafe's, fast food shops, supermarkets, gyms right on your doorstep and even some decent boutique shopping across the road into Darlinghurst down Victoria Street, and straight on down to Oxford Street in Paddington. Be warned though - probably not the best location if you are bothered by noise at night...especially Friday and Saturday nights there is a night club across the street!
