Great little hotel.Posted Nov 9, 2014
Pros: We had come off a cruise, docked early in the morning, wanted somewhere we could drop our bags off and explore Sydney.
Location: Anything you want to do on the harbour. Perfect for going on or returning from a cruise, central to the railway. excellent location.
Had a room with a shared bathroom, was a little wary for that reason. However, very clean and comfomfortable. Wanted something close to The Rocks, erfect for the one night. Breakfast was included, contintental only but still enjoyable.

Centrally located in an interesting part of SydneyPosted Oct 28, 2014
We were in town for a wedding and this hotel was very close to the church and reception. We had a comfortable and quiet room (30) at the back. Good shower and decent bed. Nice friendly staff. Good bar.

Great locationPosted Oct 23, 2014
Pros: Great location within easy walking distance of Circular Quay and the Rocks. Easy atmosphere with helpful staff.
Cons: Limited power points in room and as the only one was at floor level we were on our hands and knees every time we used the kettle.
Location: Circular Quay; Harbour ferries; Opera House; Rocks market and cafes; and the harbour bridge.
Arrived at 1:30 in the morning and struggled to raise the night manager to get into the hotel. However, once we did the service was good and next day we were assured this was an unusual occurrence. With this behind us the rest of the stay was good but could have been better if our room (No. 8) had not faced into the adjacent narrow walkway and hence, we had received more natural light in the room.

In the heart of old Sydney 1 block from Circular Quay and metro. and beautiful Sydney Harbor. 15 mintes by metro ftom airport Incredibly near Harbour Bridge, Opera House and Botanic Gardens and walking distance to lots if restaurants. Expensive but consistent with Australia costs. Great comfy beds. Small hotel.

Great valuePosted Oct 9, 2014
If you're willing to share a bathroom (no issue for us) this hotel is great. Very central - old fashioned but very roomy accomodations, friendly staff. And the provided breakfast is delicious.

Close to everything around the HarbourPosted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Loved the location and the staff
Cons: A bit more thought to how people will 'fit' into the small rooms with all their gear would be good. Quite expensive but I guess it's the location.
Location: 5mins walk from the waterfront of Sydney Harbour and views of the bridge, the opera house and so on.
A wonderful location and a lovely hotel. The staff couldn't have been more lovely and welcoming. Our room was a bit squishy, no where to put our bags but on the floor where they were a bit in the way, and the kettle in the bathroom then because the bags covered the powerpoint, lol. But none of that really mattered as the decor and location were all wonderful.

Hotel is in an excellent location in SydneyPosted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: The hotel's location was great and the staff were pleasant.
Cons: Ensure beds are comfortable and reasonably modern.
Arrival at the hotel was good and the check in staff were good. Getting luggage around the hotel is a problem as it is a rabbit warren with lots of stairs. The room was clean and adequate however the cast iron bed had a decided bow in the frame and as a result the mattress sagged in the center. It was difficult to get a good nights sleep because of noise and people slamming doors and hotel trades people early in the morning.

Small hotel, but close to everything Sydney!Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: Great location, much is within walking distance, if you to venture further, the ferries and trains are right there!
Cons: Free breakfast needed more options, especially hot foods, as the only cooked option was hard boiled eggs, or toast. Layout is a bit confusing as well.
Location: Close to the bridge, The Rocks, the ferries, the opera house, the CBD, and a really good restaurant, Pancakes on the Rocks, which never closes.
Arrived early but room was ready, staff were extremely helpful, assisted us with our luggage and walked us to our room and showed us the amenities. Hotel does have a lift, but if your room is not all the way in the back corner, you have to go up and down a short flight of stairs. Do note, the hotel entrance is in the back of the building, not on the street as that is door for the bar.

Pros: Helpful staff, great location and comfortable room.
Helpful staff - allowed me to check in very early as room was already cleaned. Also offered me an umbrella for the day which proved to be very useful and thoughtful. Nice clean little room with comfy bed.
