Perfect location for touristsPosted Apr 12, 2015
The Russel hotel is right down the road from the harbour bridge and the opera house also a 20-30 minute walk away from the cbd so a perfect location for our weekend stay. Staff were friendly and they had our room ready for our early arrival. Room was comfortable and clean.

Very well located but the room was old-fashioned and the bathroom was pokey. The biggest drawback was the loud music from the pub beneath us, which was non-stop from 4pm to midnight.

Perfect location. Great staff.Posted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: Location. Staff. Old and charming. We had a room with shared bath. It was spacious and clean. Plenty of hot water.
Location: In the area called The Rocks. Waterfront area next to Circular Quay. All ferries, busses and trains are right there.
This was our second stay at The Russell. Great location in The Rocks. The staff is helpful for any directions, suggestions or special requests. We would stay there again. If it is hot outside, be advised that they have no a/c in the bedrooms.

Excellent location and historical significancePosted Feb 21, 2015
Pros: Position in Sydney
Cons: Room service
Location: Local area The Rocks, Sydney Harbour Bridge, ferries/trains Circular Quay, Opera House
Pleasant amenities but somewhat uncomfortable. Clear glass fridge door lit up room all night. There is no room service, despite onsite eateries. This is a very old pub, different levels, lots of steps, interesting nooks and crannies and a delightful lounge room. The neighbouring laneways in the Rocks are of great interest and there are many exceptional eateries and pubs.

God beliggenhedPosted Feb 12, 2015
Ingen udsugning. Morgenmaden var heller ikke særlig interessant. Meget kedelig.

Convenient and cozy! Great value!Posted Feb 10, 2015
We stayed for two nights before a cruise! The location was fantastic - near ferries, Opera House and bridge and walking distance to port! Breakfast was a great perk! Shared bath was not a problem - always clean! Restaurant was also very nice and reasonable! We were there on Australia Day (rainy but fun) and were near many activities!
