Close to beach and shops

Great hotel and staff small pool but the beach is just across the road

Average hotel, good location

Right on the beach this hotel is in a great location; 10 minutes walk from the ferry stop and a few minutes walk to bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel's South tower is awkwardly located behind the North tower and also behind the rubbish stations of the hotel and the restaurant, making the walk to it a bit whiffy. The rubblsh stations are down an alley which despite being private, has a lot of traffic due to guest parking, staff parking and rubbish trucks, meaning you have to do some dodging as well. The room was average and unclean in some places (shower had someone else's hair in it, a glass shelf on eye level was extremely dusty, the glasses were dirty and cushions on the bed were also dirty). Our double bed was two singles pushed together making for an uncomfortable nights sleep. It definitely wasn't the worst hotel I hae ever stayed in but I feel it was overpriced.

The Tower is separated by a laneway however this is not a private access road but is a shared space between the two towers and provides access to a number of local residential apartments. Perfect location; unbeatable view; attentive staff

I highly recommend the Sebel hotel in Manly Beach, i stayed here recently for a week on a business trip and was very comfortable and happy with the accommodations. The room was modern, clean, quiet, spacious, and had a great view. The in-room laundry was a nice plus and the staff was friendly and attentive. The location couldn't have been more perfect, far enough away from the corso to be quiet and close enough to walk to anything needed. The only complaint I have was WiFi should be a given in any hotel offering internet now a days. Overall looking forward to returning.

Best holiday Ever.

Cons: Wheelie bin pick up times outside our room were sometimes a little early..
Location: Beautiful location, heaps of attractions, like walks, beaches, cafes and the ferry over to Sydney
We had a wonderful holiday. Our room was warm and clean and relaxing and quiet as it was close to the beach but still far away enough if you wanted to stay inside for some peace and quiet.. All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful in every way. We would absolutely love to go back and stay at The Sebel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone else, thank you.

Reception staff

Staff at reception were friendly but were not helpful. I was told I would be called when the room was ready, I wasn't. I rang at checkin time and was told the room still wasn't ready, they would call me, they didn't. Upon checkout I was informed there was a fee for parking our cars in your car park. I wasn't informed of this on checkout either. You waved the fee as a result of this.
