Best holiday Ever.

Cons: Wheelie bin pick up times outside our room were sometimes a little early..
Location: Beautiful location, heaps of attractions, like walks, beaches, cafes and the ferry over to Sydney
We had a wonderful holiday. Our room was warm and clean and relaxing and quiet as it was close to the beach but still far away enough if you wanted to stay inside for some peace and quiet.. All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful in every way. We would absolutely love to go back and stay at The Sebel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone else, thank you.

Excellent Service

The only down side was that the roll out bed had a very hard mattress and my daughter ended up sleep on the lounge. Everything else was excellent and we would choose the Sebel again.Thanks Linda

Hotel close to the Beach

Pros: comfortable and clean, wonderful staff.
Cons: Maintenance checks should be regular. Disappointing to have to ring and ask for four light bulbs to be replaced and disappointing to wait a day.
Location: handy to the beach, shops, ferry and other north shore beaches.
Comfortable clean rooms, handy to the beach, shops, ferry and to our family.

Pros: The view
Cons: Staff
Location: beach
Staff on arrival were okay. I had booked an early morning taxi through the staff the night before which never showed. As my meeting was time critical, the staff simply shrugged their shoulders. The quality of the bed and linens were good. The separate lounge was still and uncomfortable. The hotel was under rennovation so drills started early in the morning. Not a great stay. There was a false fire alarm and dinner arrived cold. There was no discount despite this,.

Great location, tired hotel

Excellent location, but the "South Tower" is looking tired and run down. Rooms overlook (and are overlooked) the apartment complex next door and having to walk through the bar, outside, down the alley and into another building is a bit strange.If you stay here, insist on the North Tower as this is the one in the photos and is the one on the beach front.

The room was a bit neglected, lots of details that's getting old and rusted. To be honest I paid $99 per night at the IBIS hotel in Wellington NZ and the room was in a much better state, compared to almost $400 per night here? Not worth that at all as this was even at the back of the building with no view at all.

Great hotel right on the beach

Lovely, spacious and light rooms (ocean view studio). The balcony was big and right on the sea front. The hotel is nice and quiet and the staff are lovely. I' d definitely recommend it - we nearly booked the Novotel at a third more of the price - so glad we didn't!

To be so close to the beach was unbeatable. The staff were second to none. Parking the car was a challenge.
