Nice hotel close to all amenitiesPosted Nov 30, 2013
Pros: The fact it was close to beach and corsa
Cons: Needed a quiet area
This is a nice hotel although I wouldn't say it warrants a 4 star rating, probably more like a 3 star. It has 2 parts the main part of the hotel overlooking the beach and the annexe at the back which was separate and where we stayed. The room was clean, the staff friendly. The bar/restaurant area we found to be very noisy with music blaring even first thing in the morning. It obviously appealed to a younger clientele. Being older we would have appreciated a quiet area where we could have a conversation without shouting. Having said this we just wanted a base to stay and being close to all amenities this served its purpose.

great hotel, but expensive for 1 nightPosted Nov 24, 2013
I stayed here on a Sunday night with my boyfriend, just to get away and do something different. Unfortunately it was heavy rain all weekend, but Manly still has lots to do and good restaurants so we made do. The view of our room was not the best (into a loading dock) so I would recommend an ocean view. However the reason I didn't choose this was because of the cost, even a standard room seemed quite dear. The hotel was very pleasant though, staff very helpful, and the room was modern and comfortable. I would stay here again. Parking was a breeze and checkout was later than normal (for me) at 11am. Was a good night

Recommended weekend away without kidsPosted Sep 23, 2013
Pros: it was quiet and close to everything with very helpfull staff
Cons: the lounge could be updated it wasn't comfortable to sit on.
Location: This hotel is in a great location a quick walk to all Manly's attractions: restaurants, shops, beaches, wharf and Aquarium World
If you’re in need of a kid free weekend for time together this is the hotel for you. The hotel is in a terrific spot close to everything but quiet enough for a nice weekend away to relax drink eat and shop. Very friendly helpful staff.

Good location for city and beachPosted Jun 12, 2013
Good location close to beach shops pub and ferry. Comfortable and even met the teenagers expectations ! Sliding doors blocked out all noise. Easy to catch the ferry into the city so best of both worlds - beach and city stay !

On the beach in ManlyPosted May 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
The location of this hotel is very hard to beat. it is at the south end of the beach which is much quieter than near The Corso. The Manly Sebel were very responsive to our requests to make the accessible room more user friendly. Hoghly recommended.

Over Priced and GloomyPosted May 8, 2013
Cons: The room
Having always wanted to stay on the beach front in the Sebel I finally got the opportunity last week as a treat just before I left Manly having lived in the area for the past 5 years. I was so disappointed. I was put in the South block which was a building behind the main hotel. It was dated, freezing cold, dark and gloomy! Not the experience I had dreamt of having there.
