Pros: the $ 95 dollars per night

the musty woolbrokersPosted Jun 19, 2014
Cons: knock it down and start again
Location: was close to darling harbour,
longe dining smelt musty, rooms and floors same but to a lesser degree, fresh constantly running from cold tap, shower door jammed and made entry and exit difficult, did not like the climb up two flights, this should be in the back packers sections worst stay of my life

Clean, basic & practical hotel. Located close enough to the city & all the attractions. Light rail is handy. The staff were helpful & provided a good service. We will use the Woolbrokers again & certainly recommend it to family & friends.

high ceiling rooms with opening sash windows.very comfortable but would have liked a night chain or latch on the door for security.

great location, basic but comfortablePosted May 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
a basic bed and breakfast in a great location, though at the time of my stay there was a lot of demolition work happening close-by (Darling Harbour convention centre redevelopment). Room was clean, a good size, comfortable, bed and basic facilities (sink and bar fridge). great value if you don't need or want all the facilities (and expense) of a fully serviced hotel.

Superb hostsPosted May 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
Conveniently located near Darling Harbour this was the perfect spot before our cruise the next day. While the hotel is definately 'dated', and our room was quite noisy (ask for one that is not roadside and you'll be fine) the staff were outstanding (Tom and Stephanie), helping us to find places and printing off several options for us to get to White Bay Terminal. Breakfast was included and was more than adequate.

Value for moneyPosted May 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel was surprisingly good. We had the king size bed with ensuite on the ground floor. The guy at the front desk was friendly, efficient and professional. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for what we needed. The cost was very reasonable for Sydney city. All in all, very happy with our choice.
