Very good but couldn't connect with the wi- Fi.Posted Apr 7, 2015
The Hotel was very good and provided all that was needed for travelers: safe, hairdryer, fridge, microwave and laundry on the premises. Absolute disaster as far as wi-Fi concerned. We couldn't get onto the Internet with my iPad or my husbands Samsung phone. Staff in the Travelodge tried but couldn't get either to work! You do need a good wi- Fi thesedays to check-in for flights and my husband was trying to keep in touch with his business in England so as I said it was a disaster and extremely inconvenient.

Central Hotel close to all attractions in SydneyPosted Apr 1, 2015
Pros: Position, staff friendliness, clean quiet hotel even though it was very busy.
Cons: It would be nice if the hotel could offer lunch or evening meals as at moment it only offers breakfast.
Location: Reasonably Central to all Sydney amenities. 5 minutes to Hyde Park, 10-15 minute walk to Darling Harbour,Paddys Market,Chinatown bus to Circular Quay.
Stayed 3 nights prior to cruise, was exceptionally pleased with all aspects of Hotel. Staff were excellent, 5 minute walk to Hyde Park, 10-15 minute walk to Darling Habour and Paddys Market free bus to Circular Quay. We found the Hotel very clean, quite and comfortable, make sure you book breakfasts on arrival well worth it! I must admit I was a bit dubious when I read negative remarks on Trip Advisor but I can only comment on our visit. Would recommend hotel!

Good LocationPosted Apr 1, 2015
Very nice hotel, good location close to Central railway station only around 7 minutes walk away. comfortable room with both table and chairs and also a settee in the room, although spent little time in the room. Checkout time was 10am but I was able to book a later checkout time as this was my last stop before travelling back to the UK.

Sydney getawayPosted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: quiet, clean and centrally located to transport
Cons: a small settee or lounge would be a good addition to a room
Location: Hyde Park, The Museum, St Marys Cathedral, great local cafes, close to The Capitol Theatre and also the train stations
Having a 5 night stay in Sydney we found the hotel to be centrally located to our holiday plans, the room was always clean and tidy when we returned each evening, the bed was comfy an the kitchenette facilities were adequate. Central to bus, train and taxis, a short walk to good cafes and it did have a good on site meal option. The only downfall was it didn't have a lounge to relax on, but the table and chairs served the need while we were there. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the cleaners always looked after us. We would certainly stay there again

Bare bones hotelPosted Mar 23, 2015
The staff was very kind, but You get what you pay for. The air conditioning was not adequate, the bed and pillows were uncomfortable, and the wi-fi was less than adequate.

Close to gay area in SydneyPosted Mar 22, 2015
Stayed with the hotel for 2 nights. The room that we stayed in had extremely noisy air condition humming all night. Asked the staff if we could change the room and they changed us to a different room but the a/c is so weak that the room is warm and never gets cooler than 30 degree. Convenient walk to Oxford street where the gay ghetto is. Though honestly I would have stayed in a different hotel for the price that I paid for.
