Good position close to cityPosted Apr 20, 2014
Ok - good staff. Thought we had booked 1 queen and 1 single but only had a fold out bed as the single. Otherwise fine.

Average motelPosted Apr 19, 2014
Pros: Close to train station.
Cons: Cleanliness of rooms, mattress and pillows need to be replaced, bathroom fixtures worn and need replacing. Better security of luggage when left at mot
Motel staff were helpful and friendly. Check in and out was quick and efficient. We were able to leave our bags after we checked out which was great but were a bit concerned about the security of our luggage as anyone was able to go in and out of the storage room where your bags were left. Motel was a short stroll to Hyde park and Museum Station which was very handy. Buffet breakfast was average and would recommend looking for a cafe if your after a good cup of coffee.

Great of Quiet LocationPosted Apr 11, 2014
Pros: Quiet location
Cons: More info in room about hotel facilities. At check-in not asked about booking Breakfast for next day, at reduced rate, only found out next morning
Location: central location
Good quiet location, central to shops. Cheaper to book airport shuttle at reception than doing it online.

Well situated but needs a spruce up.Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: Pleasant staff.
Cons: See the comments above.
Location: Well located.
The Travelodge was in a good position and we walked to Circular Qual etc. To park you have to pay extra and put your car in the nearby car park for which the hotel charged us $25 for and we later found out is only $20 if you just drive in and park. The first room was small, dark and crowded and the hallway outside was very dirty. A second room they offered after we complained was much better and cleaner. However when we went to use the fold out sofa it was jammed and we had to wait over 40 mins for someone to finally come up and get it open. The staff were pleasant but the whole place seems like it needs some good management taking control and getting it in order. Not good value for money but adequate.

Nice Hotel Easy StayPosted Apr 7, 2014
Location: Close to station and city
It was comfortable, needs Parking though. We had stayed in an inner city hotel turned out to be a dusty room above a pub. Ok But not great with my two teenage daughters. Moved to the travel lodge it was a pleasant change.

Comfortable and close to cityPosted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: Pleasant staff and reasonable view
Cons: Free internet
Location: The Harbour, the Opera House, the Bridge, the Rocks, the Botanical Gardens just over the way.
We needed a place on the way from the airport and in walking distance to the Harbour for both a conference and urban sketching.

In the cityPosted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: Confident to city
Cons: Friendlier reception staff
Hotel was satisfactory have stayed twice before. Requested 2single beds with Expedia but when going to room found a queen bed. Reception was not happy to change rooms and said if I had booked direct with them I would have been guaranteed 2 single beds.
