Good for the price

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Location: Good location to a lot of restaurants/pubs/public transport and shops
The hotel was fine nothing fantastic but not bad. Good for the price I paid but wouldn't have been happy if I had paid a lot more. The staff were good though and very accommodating. I was there for a work trip and it was located right near where I needed to be so that was good. The hairdryer in my room didn't work though.

convenient

Pros: location, value for money
had a great stay in sydney, Travelodge on York street is in a great spot and really convenient. Because the public transport in sydney is so expensive and tourist unfriendly, staying in this location really made getting around that bit easier. the staff were great as well. Thank you

Central to everything

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Central, friendly staff. Great breakfast deal - 2 for 1
Cons: Free wireless Internet access!!! Daily room servicing was ok. Would have appreciated dirty cups etc replaced. Also perhaps spills wiped away.
Location: Public transport - man has Sydney got it right. Walk to the harbour bridge, downtown, the rocks, Darling Harbour etc etc
We wanted somewhere central so we could make the most of our stay - Travelodge Wynyard was brilliant for this. Half a block to the train, over the road for the bus - short walk everywhere else. Room tidy and comfortable - nothing exceptional but more than adequate. Staff were friendly. The breakfast deal was brilliant - 2 for 1 - plenty of variety and a great way to fill up for a full day of being out and about. Like all hotels - free internet access only available in the lobby (and then it didn't work) - quite amazing really given that free wireless access is so readily available in retail stores yet hotels charge through the nose!!!!! Would happily stay there again.

Good CBD location, economical stay

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: Location and restaurant.
Cons: Internet lounge is average. Recreate guest lounge (like Qantas Club) and watch business stays exponentially increase. Computers not needed.
Location: Darling Harbour and easy walk, city shopping on the doorstep, train, bus and ferry travel within minutes.
Checkin and checkout seamless, smooth transaction without delays. Location is a block from Wynyard train station, a few blocks from Circular Key and Darling Harbour, and as an economical base in Sydney it's a great spot. Restaurant service is good, food is fine, and well-priced.

Well located Sydney CBD hotel

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: CBD proximity
Cons: Better tea and coffee
Low expectations of hotel sited on Sydney Harbour bridge exit exceeded. 2nd floor room directly overlooking road was pleasing quiet, large and OK appointed. Rumble of underground trains felt but no problem

A little bit old,the wash rood is very very small

Just so so... compare with the travelodge in Melbourne,it is really small and old...but it is closed to the train station and clods to the bus stop which I can take the 555. Transport is very convecient

central hotel , easy to walk everywhere.

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: The location.
Cons: Noise from traffic
Location: Easy to walk to the Rocks and Darling Harbour.A 10 minute walk to central shopping area as well.
Staff were very helpful, butour room was right on York St so the traffic noise woke us up early each morning ( not so good when you are on holidays!) Would stay again but ask for a room at the back of hotel. Great coffee shops and eateries within 5 min walk.Close to Rocks and Darling Harbour
