Staff need training

Posted Mar 17, 2014
I stayed at this hotel with 19 family members over many rooms and we all were very unimpressed by the rudeness of staff. Location is great but we will not be returning until staff receive some basic hospitality training.

Good hotel & across road from station.

Posted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: It was across the road from the railway station which was convenient for our circumstances. Close to city.
Cons: I always say "Pillows". Hotels always think people like soft pillows.
We didn't spend much time there so didn't use any of the facilities or eat at the restaurant. Would still stay there again depending on what we were attending in Sydney.

Second Stay

Posted Mar 15, 2014
Pros: The position
Cons: For staff to bother reading requests and if unable to provide the request at least let the client know that it was read.
I was disappointed with my 2nd stay mainly because the 1st time I got water views without asking, the 2nd stay I specifically asked for water views as we were on a break from our drought stricken farm and would have loved to lookout over the water. But that was not to be. We got to look at a cement wall instead. We didn't even bother to open the curtains. We were there for 3 nights looking at a cement WALL. I am not sure what is worse a cement wall or a dusty paddock.

Very close to the trains for getting around

Posted Mar 6, 2014
Since it was so close to the trains, that's all you could hear at night.

Good location, but disappointing.

Posted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: As I have said, the hotel needs smartening up - it looks shabby.
Location: Close to good swimming pool, transport across the road, nice walks.
There was no porter to help with my luggage and no one asked if I was able to manage. My room was very clean but the paint was peeling off the back of my bathroom door. The swimming pool area needs doing up; it all looks tired and grubby. In fact, the hotel looks tired.

Pros: We enjoyed our stay and the facilities were just what we needed plus the price was right!!
Cons: The lifts!!!
Location: Luna Park and Opera House.
Nice hotel and staff - good breakfast. Check in and checkout was easy and we had no trouble getting to our function in the CBD.
