Central accommodation close to city and transport.Posted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: It's proximity to transport and city business.
Cons: For me, there were too many mirrors in the room.
Location: Pleasant cafe downstairs and central to CBD attractions such as the Museum, Chinatown, the harbour etc.
The stay was restful and I appreciated that the room was ready early. That was very convenient for me.

Perfect locationPosted Oct 23, 2014
Pros: Location to where I needed to go.
Location: Short walk to Chinatown and main CBD
Quick and easy check in. Unfortunately in my first room the water in the toilet kept flushing every now and then. As soon as I contacted reception they organised for a new room and sent someone up to help me move to it. It was no hassle and they were apologetic. My stay was for business, the room was a perfect size and the staff were extremely helpful. Will definitely stay here again when I need to be at this end of Sydney.

stay at this hotel only if all others are full.Posted Oct 22, 2014
Cons: Insist that all staff do a comprehensive course in customer relations. Earlier opening hour for breakfast area.
Location: location is adequate for parking and shopping
I would prefer not to make too many comments for fear of accusations of slander.

Central but very bad if you are driving.Posted Oct 21, 2014
Average acomodation give it 3 out of 5. Poor reception and telephone staff. I was woken at 8am to see if I wanted an airport bus---not happy.

Very nice hotelPosted Oct 20, 2014
Nice hotel. Clean and good rooms. Still using 1980s movielink TV settop boxes that ruin any decent TV reception, they might as well have no TV. Also don't allow hdmi as they use hotel lock. Pointless. Although how much TV would a person be using when travelling anyway?

Great value for money and friendly staff.Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Within walking distance of shops and attractions. Close to public transport. Friendly staff. Great value for money.
Cons: Fix the cards/card readers on the door.
Location: Walking distance to a bunch of shopping destinations. Approx. 30 minute walk to the Opera house and Harbour bridge. The Rocks Paddy's market close by
Staff were extremely friendly which made it really nice when we arrived to check in. They put us in a room with more beds (only meant to get a room with a queen bed but got a queen and two singles) which allowed us to have more room. We were only there for one night but it would have been comfortable to stay for much longer. The only minor issue we had was that the card we had to get into our room was playing up. Apparently it was because we stored the cards in our phone wallet which can affect the magnetic strip. We did get the cards replaced but the same issue happened again. If none of my other cards are affected, surely this hotel cards shouldn't be either right? Overall though, we were very happy with the hotel.

Unhelpful staffPosted Oct 16, 2014
I was in Sydney for work and had a tight schedule, and Breakfast was not brought during the time it said it would be. The breakfast was cold and the coffee was terrible. I left my jacket in the room after I checked out, and the staff I spoke to were rude and not willing to assist in finding it, passing the buck to their colleagues in housekeeping - more than a day later and I haven't heard anything, so I'm not anticipating getting it back. Would not recommend this place to stay at all.

The hotel was acceptablePosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: The hotel was fine and it was in a good location for the station and a good 20 minute walk to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
Cons: The FREE wifi
The hotel was acceptable but FREE wifi would have been more appropriate than having to pay.

Great Location!Posted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. room tidied daily. Good pool.
Cons: We would avoid Uni Games week next time as students took over the pool area and rooms noisy at night. be helpful if they were given separate floor.
Location: Darling harbour, ferries, shopping all close by and within walking distance. Fantastic public transport - buses and trains all close by.
This was our first visit to Sydney and we were pleased with the central location of this hotel. We were easily able to walk to Darling Harbour and the main shopping streets. Free public transport took us to Circular Quay if we weren't up to the 25 minute walk there. Public buses took us to Bondi beach and other great locations. The train station is only 5 minutes walk as well. Staff at the Vibe are friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned daily. Would happily stay there again.
