PleasingPosted May 23, 2015
Pros: We liked the closeness to so many of the highlights of Sydney
Cons: More tables and chairs in the dining area, nicer décor in the hallways
Location: The location close to the city centre enables you to take a personal walking tour from the Hotel through many of Sydney's amazing spots.
Can walk to many of the "sights" of Sydney - Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Botanical Gardens, Domaine Park, Art gallery, Martin Place, The Rocks, Circular Quay

The room had a couple of things that need to be maintained. Light bulb flickering in hallway, taps over bathroom basin - too tight, need the washer loosened, soap dish in bath need to be fixed. Carpet is worn in places, exterior could do with a cleaning as well as there is a garden outside that needs attention and the surrounding area.

Sydney quick stopPosted May 19, 2015
Pros: Security and well lit foyer with helpful management.
Cons: Soap in room would be a good item to have.
Location: It is within walking distance from Museum railway station and restaurant facilities. Hyde Park is a lovely area as well as the hotel is close to shop
I caught up with daughter and stayed at the hotel for two nights. . Room is basic but breakfast is included for the one price. Have stayed here before and would so again.

Close to everything without the expensePosted May 16, 2015
Location: Excellent location, only 10-15min walk max to everything in the inner city.
For the price of $39 it was a steal to be that close to everything for a quick overnight business trip. Staff were helpful and friendly and continental breakfast of toast, cereal, and coffee was a great addition to the low price. Shared bathroom in my room which was again expected for the price, gave it a slight hostel feel however all was clean and always available. I had a balcony room however the balcony were bolted shut so no access.

Excellent LocationPosted May 6, 2015
Pros: Location, friendly staff, basic services
Cons: Twin beds pushed together was annoying. A place to fill the kettle??
I was quite happy with the hotel. The location was excellent, walking distance to the Anzac memorial, Barracks Museum, Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Museum and Botanical Gardens, as well as train stations. The room came with tea and coffee making facilities, air condition, tv, towels and a nice bed. I had a shared bathroom which was not too bad. Breakfast was just bread, spreads and cereal with tea, coffee and juice. Wasn't the best but you get what you pay for. All in all, a good budget hotel. Nice and clean, and better than I expected. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return, unless I become rich and then I can afford the Hilton.

We stayed here from Apr 28 -- May 1, 2015. My first time visiting Sydney from San Francisco CA USA. Front desk person on 29 Ap2015 night shift was not helpful. It seems they are not trained dealing with customers. Breakfast staff are nice. This hotel is good for backpackers on a budget. I will not recommend this Hotel.

Very handy to CBDPosted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Comfortable bed and very clean linen.
Cons: Windows looking out were very dirty - hindered the view.
Location: Very close to the CBD - about a 10 min walk to Martin Place and the like.
Room was lovely and clean, however being near the busy intersection, there was a bit of road noise. The view from the room was good though.

Beautiful hotel at an awesome price!Posted Apr 18, 2015
The whole experience was awesome, from the first hello to checking out. The staff were so friendly and full of smiles and jokes. The shared bathrooms were always clean and the same goes for the bedroom. Breakfast was really nice too. Planning on coming back soon!

Good value basic hotel in Sydney CBDPosted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Breakfast, location
Cons: Walking down the corridors to our room felt a bit like a rabbit warren - low ceilings, musty. could do with renovation
Location: Close to Hyde Park, museum, public transport. Walking distance to shopping, cafes and sights of Sydney
Family stay for 3 nights during school holidays. Good location to walk to good shopping areas, sightseeing and public transport. We stayed in a triple bed room with ensuite. Beds were comfortable and clean. Not a large room but adequate as we spent most of the time out and only needed a place to sleep. The café where we had the included breakfast was the highlight. All you can eat continental breakfast makes a good start to the day. Staff very helpful and friendly. It was also good to use the left luggage facility.
