Never pick up the phone or return calls

I had booked the hotel through expedia for 2 nights. I had to change the schedule to just 1 night which based on Expedia had to be done directly with the hotel. I had someone in Australia call them to make the change 5 days ahead of the booked time. She called 4 times, different times, nobody picked up. She left a message every time to return her call, nobody ever called back. Then I called with the specifics of reservation and how to change, nobody ever picked up, nobody returned call and they did not change the reservation. So I was charged for both nights, which is really very ridiculous! There is no e-mail address for this hotel, so phone is the only option! Not to mention that 180 dollars for a basic room with shared bath and lots of traffic noise is actually expensive even for Sydney!

Pros: It is accessible to public transport and provides free continental breakfast. The upgrade to full breakfast is a steal.
Cons: Nil
Location: Walking distance to Hyde Park, St Mary's Cathedral, Pitt St Shopping Centers and the Sydney Tower. Chinatown and Darling Harbor are nearby also.
The room is a bit small but it is okay for a single person. Counter staff and the housekeeping staff are pleasant and willing to assist. Great location to nearby attractions around the hotel. No fuss finding the hotel.

The room size is ok .but room are not clean . The floor are wet , and the bed sheet with dirty marks and the towel will blood mark also . Room service are poor , never check before they leave the room , left the rubish in duskbin within my 2 day of staying . Reception are not welcome at all .

Excellent location close to main tourist attractions. Unfortunately our room was on a corner of the hotel close to a major road junction so it was very noisy.

Cons: Room cramped. Could furniture be re-arranged to give a bit more space to move around?
Location: Great location to get around they city, either by public transport or walking.
Not as enjoyable as we were tripping over each other in the room

Clean, tidy, simple. Had everything you needed for a quick stay. Free breakfast was great and it was in a prime location.

Pros: Great location.
Cons: Pretty much everything could be improved.
Location: Great location on the middle of everything.
Great location but WAY overpriced for the service and room size, we paid almost AUD 200.00 per night for 4 nights (total of AUD 800.00) and got a really small room. Room got cleaned only once in 4 days. Front desk staff was ok but not very friendly. Breakfast was very simple, nothing to write home.....Overall rather disappointed, too expensive for what they offer except location which is very central.

after i arrived and left the luggage at reception then i went out for lunch. soon i received a call from reception (Carlos who said he is the manager) and i was told my room was flooded and they wanted to move me to another hotel which is 5 min drive away. after i checked it out, it's y hotel city south which is too far away from where i wanted to stay. it's rediculous because when i was at reception they said my room would be ready by 2pm, and just after i left for lunch they told me i wouldn't have a room! also the room condition is very old, door card doesn't work all the time, included breakfast only has juice/coffee/tea and toaster/jam/butter, eggs or bacon would charge. The only thing good is its convenient location.
