Great from outside.........

Pros: Everything except the bathroom in our room
Cons: repairs as needed
Location: close to highway, close to everything
Beautiful property, nice pool, nice lobby, room was nice-but the bathroom was nasty. Bad drywall, water damage, tile broken. People were friendly, rest of the hotel was awesome.

Not worth the rate you pay

It was okay, definitely not worth the rate you pay. It was a lot like the much cheaper Days Inn in Childersburg. My husband found trash under the bed so they didn't vacuum very well. The breakfast looked good but we didn't eat any. And the pool was visible from the windows for the breakfast. That would be uncomfortable for anyone wanting to swim to have everyone be able to see them.

Thanksgiving in Sylcauga

This trip we were visiting family for Thanksgiving. We usually stay at this hotel when we come in town and have never had problem with anything. We actually book one night less than what we needed. The hotel staff let us book the extra night on hotels.com so we can get our rewards night and just kept us in the same room (instead of making us check out and check back in since it was a different reservation).

A very enjoyable stay. Staff was very friendly. Don't normally eat a motel breakfast but this one was very good. The lady who prepared it made you feel like you were at home. Room was immaculate . Other than the entrance to motel a little difficult to see after dark no complaints at all. Would definitely stay there again

We had 2 rooms. The room for my dad was an ADA room and it totally met the need there. The hotel staff was very professional. They were always ready to listen to any problems or requests. Their maintenance team is a little short staffed. We had a problem with the pull out bed and they were not able to fix it because the maintenance person was out sick.

I would think twice before staying here again

1)Room A/C unit had a musty stale odor(or was it the carpet?). It cooled but smelled bad and actually started an annoying vibration the second night that kept us mostly awake 2) Spider in curtains was seen apon arrival 3)Flooring materials CHEAP!! Could hear every footstep of the people in room above us-We stayed on the second floor level. 4) Outdoor lighting was poor due to several bulbs being out. Two on a security pole and one right at the east outdoor entrance to the hotel! On an upnote, all the staff were friendly and the free breakfast was very good
