I loved everything about this property! Everything was perfect. The hotel is beautiful as are the rooms. The staff couldn't be more gracious. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.

The hotel is perfectly clean with beautiful furnishings, flooring, et cetera. There is no lift which is a major negative. The location is perfect practically attached to the duomo and on the main square. The breakfast buffet was one of the smaller ones I've seen in Italy or Sicily. The staff was helpful and friendly enough perhaps a little bit aloof. My classic room had no view and I looked into a tiny unkept courtyard, although there was a banana tree out there. The AC fan had an annoying sound like there was a wind storm going on outside. So a clean beautiful building and rooms but I found it a little sterile and the negatives of no lift and light breakfast would cause me to choose a different place next time. As for the view, other rooms had balconies on the Piazza so that would be good, but my room felt too isolated and was at the top of 3 flights of stairs straight up, then you had to walk down a few additional stairs to reach the door. This is just my honest report of the plusses and minuses.

The hotel, as you may have understood, is made up of 2 historic buildings and this means that one side of the hotel cannot be equipped with an elevator but has access to the rooms only by stairs. But this is a characteristic of the palace and identifies its historicity. For the rest, we will take into account your suggestions that will help us to improve the services we offer. great location , excellent staff. rooms are very loud, can hear everything on the street below and in the hallways. beds and pillows very stiff and uncomfortable. no water for guests in the room.

Great location- very difficult to access.
Hotel Roma is very difficult to find, but it’s in a great location in the city. The only way to visit with a car is really to use their valet service which is 30 Euros per day. The rooms are small for the cost, but clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly, but slow to respond to requests (safe malfunctioned in room, bath towels were not left after cleaning). breakfast was excellent, but it’s difficult to get service for coffee (yes, multiple America cups) on the patio. The dinner menu is very limited, and unless you plan to order dinner, expect some push back for having a drink on the patio, regardless of the time. Dinner menu is quite limited, but there are so many other options that it’s not an issue.

Staff went above and beyond. Parking - valet for 30 euros a day, which was a great price considering. Very hard to drive to hotel through tiny streets and Google Maps lead us astray. Staff packed us a breakfast for our early departure. Comfy room and bed.

A beautiful thoroughly modernized hotel in an older structure at the heart of Ortigia, steps away from the Piazza del Duomo. No more than 10 minutes walk to anywhere on the historic end of the island, and mostly closer. We had a 3rd floor east-facing room with a view over the rooftops of bits of the nearby ocean; sunrise photos of the roofs and skyline were great, albeit with a talker building blocking the sun for a bit until it rose higher. Top floor - 4 would have a better view but probably still blocked.

Front desk attendant was excellent. Helped us with our vehicle and luggage. Welcoming and attentive. Sorry I did not get his name. Hotel is in the heart of Ortigia. Driving to location is not easy but once you are there it’s worth it. Food and drinks at hotel restaurant was excellent.

Gorgeous, great food, super location.
Ortigia is adorable. The hotel is beautiful and renovated, but the rooms were a little less modern. Very big and comfy room, breakfast buffet is amazing! Location is great.

Hotel Roma in Siracusa is top shelf; This hotel was the best find on our Italia trip. In the centre of Siracusa Ortigia Hotel Roma is steps away from all things Ortigia, Apollo’s Temple, Statue of Diana, Duomo & Cathederal and the Castle Fortress on the Island’s point. Siracusa & Siracusa harbour are close and easily walkable - for the more challenging, walk to the archeological park Greco ruins. Hotel Roma will take care of your needs; staff are terrific and the facility outstanding.

Fantastic hotel - great staff & excellent location
We had an outstanding stay at Hotel Roma during our visit to Siracusa. The staff went above in beyond by contacting us ahead of time to arrange transportation to the hotel. The hotel restaurant was fantastic with seating out on the plaza for people watching and enjoying the surroundings. The room was perfect for my wife, son & me - with a separate bedroom area for my son to sleep as opposed to sharing the same bedroom space with mom & dad. The location is also right in the heart of historic Siracusa so getting anywhere was convenient. Would definitely stay here again given the chance.

Ideal location in the most beautiful square in Ortigia. It is possible to walk and see the sights, go back to the hotel for post lunch nap, and then join the evening without driving! The staff is warm and attentive. Room is simple but clean and with a view of the square. Would return next time!

Beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. Friendly helpful staff helped us with parking for our car and gave us a fan when the aircon struggled to keep our room cool during a 44C heatwave. Rooms are large and comfortable. The reception and bar area are stunning. And the hotel is situated just a 2 min walk from the Duomo. I highly recommend.

This was an elegant hotel literally behind the Cathedral of Siracusa. The location could not have been better. The room had a view of the Piazza Minerva and had a large bedroom/bathroom especially by European standards. Breakfast was very good as well. Loved everything about the hotel.

This hotel is gorgeous
This hotel is spectacular in every way, the rooms are beautiful, the staff is super friendly, everything is about as perfect as it could be. It’s a little tricky if you have a car, because the street that the hotel is located, says pedestrians only. But I parked the car, went and talked to the hotel staff, they said, just bring the car down the street and it was permitted for hotel guests. So I used the valet parking service and had no issues at all.

Room was a good size. Recently remodeled, hotel was clean and elegant. Great location among shops, restaurants, narrow cobbled streets and hotel offered shuttle that you had to pay for. Everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. Loved the free breakfast every morning and restaurant help was also warm and friendly. Our rental car booking didnt work out and we called hotel late and last minute and sent us their shuttle right away to pick us up from airport. They put it onour hotel bill but we were happy to get a ride. Room was cleaned daily. We were very happy with our stay here. Highly recommended.

Very nice quant hotel. Staff was super helpful. In a great location! We really enjoyed our visit. Only advice is we stayed on a top floor unit in May. The AC did not work great. I would imagine in hot months we this would have been a problem for us.
