Close to shopping.Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: Location, service and facilities
Location: Shopping. A great little getaway, shop, eat, drink, swim.
Outstanding staff. Helpful and cooperative in every way. Very good facilities and layout with room wings astride the pool, food service and bar.

Not very goodPosted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: Beds were clean and comfortable
Cons: Fix up the property - the lobby, hallways, bathrooms and pretty much everything else are really awful.
Location: Nothing - stop over on a long drive and keep on going!!!
This hotel was pretty bad. The only OK thing was, the beds were clean and comfortable - actually pretty good. Everything else was pretty BAD. The door to the room was almost impossible to open and shut, the bathroom was a disaster, the hallways and lobby were depressing, to put it mildly. But it worked for us as a very brief stopover so we could cut our long drive in half. I would probably not stay there again unless I was desperate.

Trip to SyracusePosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The bed and ver friendly staff.
Cons: Furniture and carpet on the stairs.
Location: We just stayed overnight during our travel so I can't really say anything on this topic.
Friendly staff, clean room and comfortable bed, but condition of some furniture in the room was questionable. The dresser (with TV on) should be replaced because it looked like the laminate on the top has separated from the other part. Also, the smoke detector was hanging on the wall and we couldn’t determine if it was working or not.

Overnight stayPosted Aug 9, 2014
Cons: The lighting needs to be improved (more bright)
Toilet was leaking and floor was all wet...it took a few calls to the room service, but they finally gave us us another room. Beside this issue, all was good specially breakfast. Did not use the pool, but very nice area.

The room was dirty and the hotel is run down. My daughter found a huge wad of hair floating around the pool. Disgusting!

Decent for one nightPosted Jul 29, 2014
Stayed here because it was a good midway point between New Jersey and Canada for my family and I to meet up. The staff were friendly and efficient. It was my birthday and my husbad had flowers and chocolate covered strawberries sent to the room. They made sure it in the room before we got there to surprise me. We booked 4 king standard rooms. The rooms were clean, a decent size and the beds were very comfortable. My cousin said she woke up and for once her back didn't hurt (She's pregnant). However, they were not the same. Two of the rooms had a fridge and a foot rest for the chair and two didn't. One smelled faintly of cigarette smoke and they were suppose to be non-smoking. We were excited about the indoor pool and hot tub, but at night it was overrun by a gaggle of loud (very loud) children, who were also running around screaming in the hallway. Apparently there was a football tournament that weekend and these were the stragglers that hadn't left yet. The little sitting area and the bar were useful for us. We enjoyed an eveming of catching up. They even provided us with plates for my bday cake. We tried to just ignore it. The next morning, we went to the pool and that was disappointing. The water in the pool was sort of warm for a pool, but within a few minutes felt cold because the air was so cold. My niece was shivering. The hot tub was old and the jets didn't work. Seriously a letdown! The breakfast was pretty large for a continental that's included. They had eggs, ha

ConvenientPosted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: Breakfast was good and the area was clean and friendly
Cons: Update the hotel
It was a cut below normal Comfort Inns, the rooms were out dated, wall paper was falling off walls the the bathroom, the room door had to be slammed to be secured, secure after hour doors where not functioning.. One was constantly unlocked, the other door the lock did not open with the card key.

We apologize for failing to exceed your expectations in regards to the safety and security locks at the hotel. Due to a malfunction in the locking mechanism, we chose to keep the door permanently locked, from the outside only, for the safety of our guests. We will certainly have the maintenance staff investigate all entrance doors for proper operation. We have recently initiated a new bedding package, installed new carpet, wall art, mirrors, lighting and soft seating in all guest rooms. Our next phase will be the guest room bathrooms. I hope you will give us another opportunity to provide the quality service we are known for.
