The suite we stayed in was perfect and it made for a very nice change in accommodations for a family of four traveling together for a weeklong road trip and otherwise sleeping in one room together.

Great choice for Ironman 70.3 Syracuse!

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: Clean, friendly, very welcoming to Ironman 70.3 Syracuse athletes, dog-friendly, super clean swimming pool, onsite free laundry
Cons: Can't think of anything! It's not a luxury hotel, but the best value, service and comfort for its price!
Location: Nothing to do nearby. You need a car.
Stayed here for Ironman 70.3 Syracuse and highly recommend Cresthill Suites as a "home base" for this race weekend! It's an easy 15-minute drive to Jamesville Beach (although be prepared to wait much longer once you actually hit the pre-race traffic into the park itself). The hotel was very welcoming to our large, well-behaved dog and gave us a ground floor unit so we could get outside easily from one of the many doors along the length of the building. There's plenty of green space to walk your dog, and the roomy unit (we stayed in a standard room with two beds) was clean, odour-free and had a large kitchen with full-size fridge and stove. It's a quiet hotel, and while not close to many food options, plenty of local restaurants will deliver. My child and I enjoyed the swimming pool. It's extremely clean, and I'm guessing they either use saltwater or UV to purify the water because it was crystal clear and didn't sting out eyes the way most poolwater does. The complimentary breakfast offered a lot of choices, including an omelette, lots of breads, fresh fruit, bacon, yogurt and a variety of cereals. The best part: a continental breakfast spread ready for Ironman 70.3 athletes at 4AM on race morning! That's really going above and beyond! (Also: free onsite laundromat for those stinky post-race clothes!) I highly, highly recommend this inn if you are participating in IM 70.3 Syracuse in the future, or for training weekends.

Cresthill Suites - good value for price

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: Good location, good value for price, friendly & courteous staff
Cons: Better breakfast items replenished more frequently; rooms should be checked for lighting, etc. before guests arrive.
Location: Location right off major thruway exit. Close to other routes, hotels, restaurants and businesses.
This location had plenty of parking and the staff was very friendly and courteous. Facility was quiet and the rooms were very clean. Good kitchen area, although overhead light did not work. Free breakfast rather skimpy: coffee, juice, cold muffins & Danish, cereal, toaster waffles (was hoping for a real waffle iron!) and two hot dishes depending on the day (scrambled eggs & bacon one day, French toast and sausage on another). Beverage cups tiny--guess they are monitoring portions. But, overall value good for the price and you can bring in your own food!

Close to LeMoyne College and Green Lake

The room was a nice size and had a separate living space and full kitchen. When we checked in, they let us know that they were serving dinner and cocktails-all complimentary. Overall, we had a great experience.

Nice enough... But it could be so much better.

Posted Jun 20, 2015
Pros: Big rooms... Safe location.
Cons: It was a cute place... With large rooms, however... It needs a little TLC. Walls need painted, as they are all scuffed up in places... And just a lit
Location: We didn't stay long enough to find out.
It was a cute place... With large rooms, however... It needs a little TLC. Walls need painted, as they are all scuffed up in places... And just a little more attention to detail. Curtains had big stains on them... Big cracks in the ceiling... Dirt collecting in bathroom floor corners... Things like that. If those were Addressed... It would make it a really nice place.

Great suites!!!

Posted Jun 9, 2015
What a fantastic place to stay! Our suites were very clean, full of all kinds of thoughtful little amenities (from first-night welcome baskets with tea/coffee/popcorn/granola bars to a mini office space at the kitchen island), and felt airy and spacious with plenty of natural light. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Location was perfect, with easy access to areas around Syracuse for a weekend wedding we attended. Kitchens were generously-sized but efficient and well-stocked with utensils, dishes, and helpful items like pasta strainers. Pool was clean and well-maintained. Such a restful, quiet atmosphere in spite of close location to the highway network. This is our new go-to chain...wish they had more locations!
