We stay here whenever we come to Syracuse, which is several times a year. The staff are always very accommodating and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. For the price of a room in comparable hotel you get a sitting room with a kitchenette and a separate bedroom.

Great for families and larger groups

Pleasant stay. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was hot and there was lots of choice. Much more than a continental breakfast so we were able to save money even on lunch.

Good value

A suites hotel that is relatively new, but seems to be aging rapidly. Breakfast included, but very average quality. Large rooms, including living room area. Good location

Favourite hotel when visiting Syracuse

Posted Jan 10, 2015
Pros: Value for money. Spacious rooms. Full kitchens.
Cons: For a two bedroom suite, there was only one chewy bar and one bottle of water in the complimentary basket. There should be at least two of everything
Location: Destiny USA is about 5 minutes away by car. There is a Burger King, Tim Hortons and gas station very close to the hotel.
This is our go-to hotel when we go shopping at Destiny USA. This is the best value for your money. We were in the two bedroom suite on the 2nd floor. It has been nicely updated. Each bedroom had it's own ensuite. One room had a king bed and a bathtub in the ensuite. The other room had two queen beds and a large shower in the ensuite. In between the two rooms is the kitchen and sitting area. This layout helps separate noise from the two bedrooms. Really ideal for travellers with kids. We arrived around 7:00 pm on Jan 7th. It took longer to get into Syracuse because of the snow squalls causing zero visibility. I was hoping to receive that great hospitality when we checked in but was a little disappointed in the reception from the front desk clerk. However, the desk clerk (not the same person) the next day, gave us that great hospitality that this hotel is known for. We always enjoy our stay at Cresthill. Looking forward to our next shopping expedition!

Great, easy stay with fabulous staff

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: The staff is exceptional. The facility is clean and well appointed.
Cons: Two very small details: The towels could use a bit of softener and the shampoo could come with separate conditioner rather than 2 in 1.
We came in from the west coast on a late flight into Syracuse on our way up to the Adirondacks. When we arrived at our hotel we found out that all nearby restaurants were closed but the desk agent was such a great guy - he did his best to make us comfortable and provide what he had available for a late night snack. We felt welcomed, sincerely attended to and thankful we found this gem of a place. We are a family of 5 and booked a two room suite - it was very roomy and comfortable with great kitchen amenities. In the morning we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff , ate breakfast and were taken to the airport with great care. I would gladly recommend this hotel if you're in the area - it was a win all around!!

Second Time Around not as impressed

Posted Jan 4, 2015
Location: 10 minutes from Airport, Downtown, Destiny USA.
Second time I stayed in a week. This time we had a double suite for one night. The bad: When you first walk in my friends noticed a Smoke smell and this was a non smoking room and that smell was there the whole time but not as bad. Next there were two large bottles of liqour that we left by previous guests in the closet, good thing my son didnt see them. Seems like there was a New Year Eve Party in that room because these were very large bottles. The last was there were three TV's and only one universal remote, we were able to get one more remote. For some reason when you check under the bed needs you find stuff and thats all I can say about that. The good: This was my second experices and overall this is a great hotel, my first night there was on a one bedroom and it was great. The staff and overall apperance of this hotel is great.

Overnighter!

Posted Jan 3, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness, comfort, and staff was very friendly and accomodating.
Location: Wasn't there long enough but we visited the "Big Mall" and it took us 10 minutes to get there. Not much to do around the hotel.
We only stayed overnight but the when we arrived the room was ready, very clean and comfortable. I would recommend it to any of our friends and we will be back!

Much better than on Old Collamer Road

Posted Dec 30, 2014
Pros: Price, cleanliness, living room. I would be a good place to stay for several days if I were there on business.
Cons: fix the ceiling leak stain
Location: Very conveinient to the Thruway exit and Carrier Circle
We wanted to stay near Carrier Circle, and this was a very nice hotel at a very good price. It had a fridge and a living room. It was very clean and nice. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that, but Denny's is nearby if you sleep in. The only negative was evidence of a ceiling leak at sometime in the past. I was not leaking, so there was no problem for us. It looks like it has a nice large pool. We had a couple of bad experiences with hotels on Old Collamer Road. This hotel was a bargain at the Expedia rate!
