Terrible!!Posted Dec 10, 2013
I arrived at the hotel and got checked in, went to the room, and it smelled of cat urine! I immediately went to the front desk and asked for another room. They did not have any rooms that were available. I ended up having to go to another hotel in the area. The staff at the hotel we ended up at stated that the Days Inn puts up homeless people and that it is not a good place to stay. I was also not able to get a refund from the hotel because I pre paid through Expedia and I would have to call and see if they would refund me.

Pros: They obviously try hard to do a good job with everything.
Cons: the physical facility is older and the details of repair and maintenance are below average

Don't bother, not even if it's cheap.Posted Dec 1, 2013
Pros: Very nice girl working behind the desk; professional and polite. Shower was descent. Free parking, plenty of spaces.
Cons: Look at the problems above and work from there. If there is a reserv...turn on the heat! State that the fitness/pool is not on premises.
1) The room was freezing when we first arrived. (we had a reservation, maybe turn ON the heat for us before we arrive??) The in room furnace had no temperature controls, so it was either way too cold or way too hot during the night. (The dials are high/low heat; high/low cold...no good in between) 2) There is NO fitness center or pool on premises. You must go to the YMCA and show your card. (not that far away though) 3) Room smelled moldy and we could smell the cigarette smoke from the other rooms. 4) Terrible breakfast...boxed, stale muffins and donuts. Milk in the gallon left out on the counter. 5) Bed felt like it was from 1960. Super hard sleeping surface. 6) Parking lot was super icy, almost fell several times. 7) Remote did not work for t.v. One room light did not work. 8) Unfriendly housekeeping staff. 9) Horrible towels.

Pros: Surrounding area and close to where I had my meetings
Cons: The rooms need to be remodeled. The beds need to be upgraded and the day front service could use some help and WiFi was non existent.
Location: Seward House, Harriet Tubman House, Motion Picture museum and the Finger Lakes. Beautiful countryside.
I was in and out of town for 2 day meeting. The room is clean and some of the staff were very helpful. This is a budget hotel and I was not expecting deluxe rooms. The hotel is a little noisy. It is in the middle of town near some wonderful historic building and that was nice.
