“No way would I ever go back”
We stayed in room 125 by the pool. The air quality was terribe and there was actually mold in our room. They refunded me $50 after I complained to expedia.com. There's no way they should be renting mold-filled rooms. It's a complete health hazard and very concerning to me because my mom is currently dying of lung disease. I am extremely disappointed.
“Finger lakes vacation”
A very good Holiday Inn in a convenient location. The staff were very helpful at all times. However, the one bad vibe was the fact that we stayed a total of 3 nights & each new day we found they had cancelled our electronic door key which was very annoying!
“Great Service”
There are few hotels right in the city of Auburn, so I think this is our best choice. The people who work here are great and very accommodating. It is pretty clean for the most part, although my partner always feels inclined to wipe down the phone and TV remote. Beds are comfortable. Furniture is quite old looking, and the seat of our desk chair was torn right down the middle. Bothered us initially, and then we just forgot about it. We stay here all the time, because it is right across the street from my mother's apartment. Couldn't be more convenient. Also it is close to downtown (3 minute walk), although there isn't much of downtown Auburn left. There are two restaurants in the hotel, but we don't eat at them much. They have standard to mediocre fare, so try one of the Italian restaurants in town for good food.
“Not Too Bad”
I stayed at this hotel for two reasons: it said it had a pool and an exercise room. I ended up being sorely disappointed by both. The pool was extremely small, and they kept the temperature at a toasty 95 degrees. The other people who were in the pool with me joked that it was more like a lukewarm hot tub without the jets than it was a swimming pool. The exercise room consisted of two treadmills, a few free weights and a water cooler. So, it was enough to do a little bit of exercise when swimming laps was obviously not an option. When I first took a shower the tub did not drain and I ended up finishing my shower with a tub full of water. I spoke to the front desk about it and they sent up a maintanence man to help me. The maintenence man came and fixed the problem, however it was an inconvience for me to have to wait around for him to fix the problem. All in all, the hotel was OK, but next time I will stay in a cheaper hotel, and do my running and swimming at the lake.
“Best trip we have ever had!!!”
Stayed in Auburn, NY and fell in love the town and people. We rented a car and took granddaughter and great grandson to see Niagra Falls. Love it!!! Our hotel in Auburn was the best experience we ever had. Love the people,friendly and fun..The restuarant there was great. We eat every dinner there...Great cook, great food and good company..Couldn't ask for anything better...Don't change a thing....

“Needs a little more attention to cleanliness.”
Upon checking in, you feel welcomed by the management. But then you notice that the hallway and the elevators are need of a good cleaning. When we got to our room, I needed to call the front desk to have someone come clean the bathroom, enough said. The rooms are very large, the ones overlooking the pool, we do not know about the rooms looking out onto the street. The hotel is close to shopping, especially if you have a teenager in college.

Hotel needs an upgrade. Beds are bad and it smells like chlorine.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and finally realized that Expedia offered us a more fantastic deal. The hotel personnel were helpful, extremely friendly and quite professional. The best part is they are pet friendly (a worthwhile, slight upcharge at check-in) and so, our golden retriever was welcomed with open arms and dog biscuits :) He turned out to be quite the celebrity during our 3 night/4 day stay. We highly recommend this hotel and Expedia to all.
