Central locationPosted Apr 20, 2012
Pros: Central location
Cons: Rooms and electrics need a bit of attention
Location: Very central.1km from rail station and on bus route from airport. Easy walking to the main sights.
Great central location so long as you don't mind looking out onto a busy square. The rooms are large and old fashioned but perfectly comfortable. There had been a leak in our room - repaired but not repainted and some of the electric sockets didn't work. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Stay was excellent. Hotel was conveniently located - car-friendly location, within easy walking distance of Ortigia. Only downside was that room was cold and damp.

A nice budget hotel in a great locationPosted May 11, 2011
Located only a 10 minute walk from the train station, 10 minutes walk from the island of Ortygia and 30 minutes walk from the Greek archeological park you couldnt really wish for a hotel in a better location. My room was located on the groundfloor right on the edge of the buidling beside the intersection of two streets so was somewhat noisy with trucks/buses during the day and people walking to the bar down the street at night, but for the budget price I couldnt complain too much. The room itself was on a par to that in any 4 star hotel anywhere. The staff were friendly and helpful, even the ones who couldnt speak English. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would do so again and would recomend this hotel to anyone whos on a budget.
