We were part of a very large party taking various room grades from basic to suites. Views of the sea, and Etna in the distance are possible from where you’re located in the hotel. Accommodation at various levels was indifferent. Pool area was very busy as the hotel was full. Tried dinning twice, first experience we walked out after waiting far too long to be attended to. Second time, 2x tables for around 19 people. Service was dreadfully slow, took our table over an hour before drink orders were taken, as there was only one waitress to cover both tables. She was fabulous ( Julia ) and it’s unfortunate the hotel didn’t give her more help, as for future meals we decided to all eat out. Snack menu around the pool good. Breakfast good Location well off the beaten track, you cannot walk, to any nearby eateries/ bars. Taxi prices are astronomical, be very careful, !!!!! OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE!!
We had a fantastic stay!. Luca at the front desk was absolutely fantastic. He was very professional, kind and accommodating. A real pleasure to communicate with. Annalisa at the pool bar is a gem. She is very sweet and creates a relaxed atmosphere. We spent a lot of time at the pool and enjoyed the convenience and service of the bar. Rooms had A/C with a little fridge and were quite lovely. We ended up staying an additional night. We will certainly be back! A gem in Augusta.

The hotel has a great view of the sea. The only downside was their is a night club or house about a kilometer away and their music was so loud I could hear it clearly in my room at midnight. The wifi speeds and TV channels were great. I'd stay here again. The room had 2 patios.

Absolutely magnificent hotel in a gorgeous setting
How lucky to find such a heavenly place. The best pool I've seen in a while and a great restaurant at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My only heads up is that the beds are a bit hard and not in the good way. But I would still stay here again and again for the entire experience nonetheless. Thank you for a wonderful visit to your area hotel Venus garden.

A Gem by the sea.
A very nice, clean and pleasant hotel, with great views and pool. The Staff were very friendly on the front desk and in the restaurant. Food for breakfast and dinner was very fresh and excellent.

Secluded hotel with view of Etna and the sea. Wonderful staff in the reseption. Ok rooms, very nice pool area and one could take a dip in the sea (although no beach). Not so happy with the restaurant staff. They seemed like they hated their job and rolled their eyes at customers.

Hotel is really nice and beautiful. Condition of buildings and interior is very good. Great view from pool area and see view rooms. Sea view is a must! We had a car, so location was good for us. Without a car I think it would not be convenient. Hotel is on the scarp. But it is possible to go down to the sea and even swim if the sea is calm. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very poor, but it's the same everywhere in Italy. They could add at least some vegetables. The biggest (and only) issue was internet - worked only in pool area and still it was very slow and crashing all the time. It was not working at all in rooms. This should be fixed in a 4 star hotel.

Excellent base for Eastern Sicily
Lovely hotel with spacious grounds and pool area. Glad we paid for a sea view room especially as not that much more expensive thanks to Expedia. Restaurant a little disappointing: food good but only offering a limited menu out of season(June). Hotel is well sign posted. Not within walking distance of Brucoli. Access of the less mobile is good though may involve steepish gradients.

Hotel is excellent for its price. Nice territory and rooms. Everything looks new. Good restaurant. Just one disadvantage - they do not have beach and exit to the see. Hotel is located on the rocks and far from the city and main entertainments. But, if you travel with car, it is not a problem. They have a lot of parties in restaurant (weddings etc.), but our room was far from the terrace and the noise did not disturb us. Recommend to order rooms with see view.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, insbesondere die Mitarbeiterin, die an unserem Ankunftstag ihren zweiten Arbeitstag hatte. Abgesehen vom tollen Meerblick, liegt die Hotelanlage nicht in einem sehr schönem Umfeld. Man sieht auch, dass sie schon bessere Jahre erlebt und an vielen Stellen renovierungsbedürftig ist. Unser Zimmer hatte eine Verbindungstür zum Nachbarzimmer. Man konnte jedes Wort das dort gesprochen wurde so verstehen, als wäre keine Türe vorhanden. Dort wohnte eine skandinavische Familie mit zwei Kindern, die ohne Rücksicht auf uns die Nacht zum Tag machten. Vor unserer Terrasse wurde der Blick aufs Meer durch abgestellte Gestelle für Hängematten und diverser anderer Gegenstände, sowie einem alten fast zerfallenem Holzverschlag, der offenbar eine nicht zu ende gebaute Treppe/Schacht sichern sollte, gestört. Der Pool wurde von 09:00 bis 18:00 so mit Musik beschallt, dass man in angrenzenden Zimmern, keine Ruhe hatte. Das Frühstück entsprach nicht unseren Vorstellungen von dem, was man in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie erwarten könnte.

Leste at det var bademuligheter der, men det er ikke mulig. Ikke noe og gjøre der i nærheten så man er avhengig av bil. Men utsikten var strålende .De som jobbet i resturangen var ikke gode i engelsk, og i resepsjonen. Pratet om oss norske, på deres språk. Det er dårlig oppførsel/kundebehandling

Conoscevo questo hotel sul mare quando era gestito da NH in modo professionale. Purtroppo ho avuto la inaspettata sorpresa di una nuova gestione che non è assolutamente all'altezza. Un hotel che dice di essere a 4 stelle non può essere così scadente, soprattutto nella gestione del cliente. Colazione che neanche un ostello della gioventù presenterebbe! La risposta al reclamo: "Si è vero, ma l'hotel ha pochi ospiti...." .Vergognoso. SCONSIGLIATO

hotel molto confortevole, personale gentile, camere ottime, pulite con tutti i confort richiesti. Piscina all'aperto molto pulita con servizi ancora non efficienti. Colazione abbondante con veranda vista sul mare gradevolissima, nel complesso una bella struttura molto caratteristica per l'ubicazione strategica.

Posizione incantevole. Struttura bella. Camera un po' datata. Avevamo prenotato una matrimoniale, ma ci hanno dato una doppia con lettini accostati (e coperte da letto singolo): molto scomodo. Sorpresa assai sgradevole: l'accesso privato al mare (che era la ragione per cui avevamo scelto questo albergo) non era ancora in funzione. Perché non segnalarlo sul sito dell'albergo?

wir waren im Juli/August für 4Nàchte im Hotel. Service und Ausstattung war gut. Die Dusche hatte hie und da Probleme mit der Wasserwärme sonst ok. Hotelrestaurant top. Pool sehr schön, schliesst aber leider viel zu früh am Abend und es gibt leider auch eine "Mittagspause". Sehr schade war, dass man nicht im Meer baden kann, da es keine Treppe/Leiter von den Felsen ins Meer gibt! Wäre mit wenig Aufwand zu bewerkstelligen.

Extremely pleasant stay. Nice clean rooms, nice clean pool, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere but if you simply need a peaceful rest this is absolutely great. Minor set back - our fridge (mini bar) didn't work and they never fixed it during our 5 day stay.

Hotellin yleiset tilat erinomaiset ja aamupala hyvä. Huoneet eivät ihan 4 tähden hotellin tasoa. Ilmastointi toimi huonosti. Hotelli merkitty savulliseksi mutta se ei näkynyt missään, huoneet olivat raikkaita. Parasta hotellissa oli kallioinen merenranta, josta pääsi tyynellä säällä uimaan. Merivesi kristallinkirkasta. Meri korvasi täysin uima-altaan aikaisen sulkemisen. Allasalue suljettiin jo klo 18:30. Brugoliin matkaa noin 3 km, jossa ravintoloita ja kauppoja. Muutoin lähistöllä ei mitään. Auto välttämätön.

Hotel ottimo! Guadagna tantissimi punti la location. E' situato in cima ad una scogliera ed il panorama è mozzafiato! Mangiare e fare colazione sulla terrazza aperta in cima alla scogliera sul mare è un'esperienza che pochi hotel possono offrire! Le camere sono discrete, potrebbe migliorare molto se curasse meglio l'arredamento. Cmq ci tornerò sicuramente!

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und man hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Ätna und die Bucht von Augusta. Auch der Pool und die Zimmer sind super. Der Service etwas langsam. Man sollte auf jeden Fall eine Auto dabei haben, denn das Hotel ist weit weg von irgendwelchen öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. LEIDER waren an 2 von 4 Nächten Hochzeiten und Parties im Hotel, sodass man nicht wirklich gut schlafen konnte. Dieses sollte man vor der Buchung klären...

Cet hôtel bien que situé sur un site magnifique,présente tous les aspects d'un établissement en "chute libre"..; ceci étant certainement du à une gestion déplorable, qui fait boule de neige: Pas d'entretien ( 6 parasols pour 59 chambres de 2 ou 3..., 20 transats à la piscine dont la moitié de cassés..., pas de repas le midi (dans un 4*...!!), AUCUN accès à la plage ( escalier d'accès cassé depuis plusieurs années et accès interdit), tres peu de personnels, (qui se relaient à toutes les tâches toute la journée...), Donc: très peu de clients (établissement presque vide, qui essayer de remplir ses caisses en organisant des repas de mariage 3 fois pas semaine en utilisant le restaurant de la clientèle, qui se retrouve dans la salle réservée au petit déjeuner). je disais donc: pas de services, donc pas de clients, donc pas d' argent, donc pas de services... l'effet "boule de neige"... Seule la qualité du diner et du petit déjeuner est bonne. de plus, n'y allez surtout pas sans un véhicule!!! Etablissement éloigné de TOUT (et d'ailleurs très difficilement trouvable à l'arrivée!!!) BREF: Pas recommandable, malgré les efforts de certains personnels, qui semblent conscients de la catastrophe... Depuis 1999, je ne me suis JAMAIS plaint d'un établissement réservé sur expedia... mais celui ci: nous n'y retournerons pas!
