“Good service and excellent clean”
Good service and excellent clean
“It was a great visit”
The only problem we had was breakfast was only available until 9am and this hotel is not set in a business area where people reporting for corporate meetings need to be up and out. We were traveling with young adults that like to sleep until at least 9! Front desk employees were very nice and the housekeeping young woman was extremely helpful with all of our requests.
“Will Return”
Clean and good location
“Kids in College”
Easy access to the university for an affordable price, which is why we stay there. Instead of fighting for lodging closer to campus and paying a premium for it, we found the Inn at the Faigrounds accessible to all points of interest around Syracuse but far enough away from town to save money and have rooms available for most occasions.
“Nice place”
It was a very niced place, a little out of the way for the time I was there but inexpensive with a very nice restaurant.
“just ok”
this is the second time we stayed at this hotel ,both times are room was close to the lobby and was very noisey late into the nightand woke us up many times
“Worst hotel restaurant in Syracuse”
I didn't feel like a large steak and potato type meal so I opted for the "calmar steak" appetizer and "seared tuna encrusted with sesame seeds". The appetizer was a slice of white material that could have been cut from the side of a squid, but I coudn't tell because it was battered like a chicken wing and served in a pool of the lemon sauce you find in bad Chinese food. The main dish was a slice of defrosted tuna with a glued-on coating of sesame seeds unlike anything I had ever seen before. The "wasabi cream sauce" appeared to have been squeezed (grudgingly) from a tube and the butternut squash risotto was a wierd metallic-tasting mush. The coffee at the end of the meal was cold. It was so far beyond bad that all I could feel at the end was sympathy for the waiters and waitresses that had to serve this cartoon-quality food. BTW, next night I drove into town and ate twice as well for half the price at one of the Syracuse's excellent restaurants. How the one in this hotel stays in business is completely beyond me.
“Nice Place”
Our stay went very smooth. The hotel is convenient to the various highways, the fairgrounds (3 minutes away), and shopping (carasol mall 6 minutes away) Rooms were very clean, street noise not too bad, a train does go by once a day but not bad at all. Resturant was a bit pricey but was excellent. Bar prices resonable. (also ask for the bar menu) We would definitely go stay here again. Great for the price.
“Close to Fairgrounds”
Nice place to stay. Value priced and close to the fairgrounds.
“Would stay there again anytime.”
I have stayed here before and I really liked it. Everyone was very nice and helpfull. And the resturant was soooo good.
