This hotel should charge $40 per night.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Lower the price to $30/night.
Location: Next to highly.
If this was $40 a night hotel it could get a higher rating. For $70 it was junk.

Not recommend to stay unless needed

The hotel is very shabby. The tap in the bathroom was broken. The walls were not smooth.

Nasty Hotel

Posted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: It was cheap.
Cons: Everything.
I'll keep it brief: the John Milton Inn is old, unkempt, dirty, and decrepit. It was cheap though. I paid $69 for the night. You get what you pay for.

Bad News

We looked at the room based on the look of the exterior. The room was not very nice so we cancelled our reservation and moved to another motel in the area. Please do not refer anyone else here. Do you inspect any of your motels?

Nightmare come to life

As I walked in you walk into acloud of cigarette smoke, the room smells worse than that. This hotel is not appropriate for kids. Parents beware.

The only thing nice about the hotel was the night person on shift. We stayed in a two bed room. The sheets and towels should have been thrown out years ago, the sheets have holes in them. The comforters should have been washed. The bathroom is disgusting, the counter is falling apart, the molding on the back of the door has been hanging for awhile. I know this because of the dirt between the molding and frame. The buildup of grime on the molding around the bathroom was gross. The shower curtain could use a lot of bleach. The molding around the window was rotten. You can see this by the way it was falling off in chunks just above the air conditioner. The air conditioner worked it was either on or off. The walls are paper thin; I could hear clearly the people in the room next to us. The main door to enter the room had a gap between the floor and the bottom of the door (placed a hotel towel to cover that). The other room doors were no better light from inside could be seen as we passed by and again you could hear the people in the hallway clearly. The continental breakfast was so good the day shift had coffee from next door. I would have save lot if I called the dump myself. This system will not allow me to say what I really want to so I had to butter it up.

Rooms were clean, but no business center, no amenities to speak of

It was run down. The woman at the front desk wasn't a help. The employees could care less about the customers.

John Milton Projects

Pros: The morning I checked out was a relief
Cons: Tear it down and build a new place?
Location: There are plenty of other better places to stay at
Wow, what an experience. So our room had the following- no phone in the room , the lamps near the bed were broken. ,the AC/heat unit was busted up and barely worked (see the pic), our tub would not drain on our first morning and needed fixed, there was no iron in our room. (fix that- there is no iron in the entire building). They deactivated our swipe cards after 1 day even though we were staying three nights so we had to get it reactivated. Easily the worst place I have ever stayed at.
