Nice hotel in SyracusePosted Nov 18, 2013
Location: The hotel is close to the Syracuse University campus and within walking distance to several restaurants.
The hotel was charming. The rooms were large and comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff was attentive and very helpful. Parking was free and right behind the hotel. The breakfast provided with the room was hearty.

Excellent location for College visit!Posted Nov 17, 2013
Pros: Location as well as cleanliness!!
Location: We toured Syracuse University and ate dinner at Phoebes Restaurant
My daughter, husband and I visited Syracuse University and stayed at the Parkview overnight. I found the hotel to be old however, recent rennovations added to the charm and cleanliness of this fine establishment! from start to finish we were overall satisfied with our stay.Location

Classy and ComfortablePosted Nov 9, 2013
I really liked this hotel. It was built in the 20s and has stood the test of time. It has been cared-for over the years and still retains and old-world charm and class, but with all the modern amenities. Tasteful, understated decor make it a comfortable and welcoming accommodation. Clean, comfortable beds, and total quiet make for a restful stay. The location is quite good, a short walk to Armory Square, which is quickly becoming an active and interesting re-awakened district in Syracuse.

Hotel walkable to Downtown and UniversityPosted Nov 7, 2013
Pros: Service and Cleanliness
Cons: The Continental breakfast could offer a few more items.
Location: SU is 15 minutes away by foot.
Front desk staff were both courteous and helpful. Room was nicely set-up and felt inviting. Continental breakfast was served warm and kept up with morning traffic. I would have liked a few more items available for breakfast, but it was not a dealbreaker. On a side note, the hotel offered green products and toiletries. Nice touch.

A wonderful hotel!Posted Oct 29, 2013
Location: Excellent Location! Carrier Dome, St. Joe's Cathedra, and Microbrewery restaurants are within walking distance.
This hotel was wonderful! The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free continental breakfast was an added bonus and was very good as well. I loved the coffee! We were able to walk to the Cathedral for Mass. We even walked (about a mile) to the Empire Brewing Company which was a fantastic. We plan on staying here again next year.

Nice HotelPosted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: Old world charm (art deco elevators), cleanliness and free on site parking.
Cons: The pillows are average - it would be nice to have an assortment of firm and soft to choose from rather than all the same and of average comfort.
Location: There are many restauarants in walking distance and a cute park across the street. It is minutes from downtown via car.
The hotel has much charm and recently renovated. Lot`s of windows and nice shutters. Only drawback is that windows do not open.

Nice hotel for the pricePosted Oct 11, 2013
The hotel is very well located with immediate access to mayor roads. The rooms are nice and clean. In the lobby there is a Market area where you can buy cold and hot snacks and drinks 24h. Very good option for the price.
