Not a good experience, as on the day of check out, we had to leave the Hotel without bathing, as the Hotwater to the room was not available. We waited for nearly 2 hours, but the situation was not remedied, and unfortunately after wasting 2 hours of travel time, we were forced to check out

Pros: The staff were polite and personable.
Cons: Room cleanliness.
Location: Good location, near route 81.
My room needs an In-depth cleaning and vacuuming - dust was visible in corners under and behind furniture. There was no refrigerator .

Smokey Elevator

Pros: Clean. Great breakfast and quiet.
Cons: Better circulation on the floor of smokers so that it would not linger into other areas.
Location: Great location. Minutes away from Destiny USA and also not too far from the Waterloo Outlets.
Nice Hotel. Breakfast excellent. However, the elevator had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Very hard to breath in the elevator. The desk clerk was saying that the top floor was smoking and it must of lingered into the elevator. Not pleasant. We ended taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

It is important for us to know weather or not we are meeting the needs of our guests so that we can make the appropriate adjustments to create an enjoyable stay for them .We do have a smoking floor and most likely someone who had smoke smell on them got into the elevator before you . Bad hotel

I took a weekend trip to Syracuse and was very unhappy with my hotel stay. Firstly, when I opened the curtains to my room the view left a lot to be desired; I was greeted by an abandoned trailer for a semi with gang symbols graffitied across it. I reluctantly shut the curtains as the lighting was very dim. I left for dinner and returned to the smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway and my room. When I questioned the front counter they replied that the room next door was a smoking room. How they can have a non smoking and smoking room adjacent to one another is ludicrous. The hotel was booked so a room change was out of the question. Upon my checkout the next morning I explained my frustration with my stay. The manager didn't seem overly concerned, though she did apologize. I am thankful I only had to spend a night in that dreaded place and won't ever stay at a Quality Inn again.

I am truly sorry for the unhappiness that you felt while staying here at the Quality Inn .I am just as unhappy about the trailer which was put here by the previous owner as they were storing items in it while renovating the hotel . We now have a new owner and he has plans to remove it hopefully this Summer .As far as the smoke smell ,we do have to have 1 handicapped smoking room and per ADA regulations it has to be on the ground floor ,however it rarely gets rented . My apologies for that ! Lastly I am the only manager. I have been here for 15 years but do not work on Sundays which is the day that you checked out so not sure who you spoke to but it was not me and I am sorry that they did not fill me in on the issues . I would be more than happy to give you a discount to give us another chance to provide you with a great stay ( away from the trailer) if you plan on being in the area in the future.

Excellent location

I was very happy with the location. And the staff were very pleasant. However the floor I was in had just had the carpets cleaned and I guess there was a problem. The entire floor stunk sooo bad. Like mildew/mold. Because I booked to Expedia they could reduce my rate but they did offer me 50% off my next stay.

This was the worst hotel stay of our lives. The minute you stepped on the elevator it smelled like you were inside a dumpster. It got only worse once you were on our floor. The carpets were wet and you could tell there would be mold. When we shared our concerns with the front desk and asked for a room change, they said sorry there would be no manager until Monday and we could call then (this was Friday). When we returned to our room after being out, our bags and some clothes were soaking wet. The floor almost seemed warped in some places, and water was leaking on us from the ceiling. It was clear there had been issues for a long while. We ended up calling around and finding another hotel in the middle of the night because it was unsanitary to stay there. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone, not only because I was disgusting but the hotel was completely unwilling to help us with clear issues.

We now have a new owner and a brand new roof .He is making improvements for us which makes my job much easier . It is nice to hear good things and see happy faces .I am sorry that yours was not one of them and would hope that you give us another opportunity to make that happen .

Stinky hotel

Clean comfortable room, friendly professional staff, but.....the hallway our room was in smelled like there was a recent flood. The carpet smelled overwhelmingly musty, so bad I had to hold my breath from the elevator.
