It was ok, except for all the missing amenities

Posted Feb 25, 2015
The bed spreads were horribly stained, but the rest of the room was clean. The bed seemed more uncomfortable than most. I rented an upgraded room and ended up having to request the hair dryer, iron, and ironing board that should have been in the room. I've stayed at this hotel before; it was more impressive thr first time. The staff were very friendly though.

Great hotel for on the go travelers or those who visit Syracuse and HAVE a car to move around. If you are going to rely on taxis better find a downtown hotel. Otherwise, excellent refurbished hotel with very helpful staff

It was cozy and clean. The heat worked great, considering the -14 weather syracuse was having. I would stay here again!

Fair for quick stay

Location: Great location - 10 minutes from Destiny Mall, across from breakfast place
It was fine - good enough for sleep and move on. Lacked hair dryer, enough towels, extras.

Good budget hotel with friendly staff.

Pros: Hotel is nice enough. Though they don't do breakfast there are a couple of places within a 5min walk to get some.
Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, and comfortable.

Get what you pay for!

I have stayed at this hotel before when I needed an inexpensive place to stay in Syracuse. Its cheap and gets the job done if you are looking for a place to crash for a night or two. I am a very simple person so all I require is a place to rest my head and this place provided that. If I want to be critical, there was a faint smell of cigarette smoke on the bed (in a non smoking room) and I noticed one of the dresser drawers was broken. These would have been a no no if I were on vacation or traveling with my significant other.

Very Nice Hotel, Clean, Affordable

Posted Jan 27, 2015
Cons: Would have liked a microwave and fridge in my room.
Always a nice stay. Friendly staff who are more than accommodating. Clean, modern rooms. I would recommend this hotel. :)

They accept pets which was great. Bed was very comfortable. Things were okay til the ants showed up. Literally, ants on the floors. Then I heard a dripping in the middle of the night to find water was dripping behind the wall in the upper corner of my room.

Clean room, near restaurants

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Check in went smoothly and my room was clean. The room was small, but not unexpected in a big city. I had an interview in Queens (had to take cabs to get around this area easily), but I was able to walk about 10 minutes to the Floral Park station and take a train into Penn Station to explore Manhattan. There are several nail salons/restaurants on this street within walking distance, which was nice since I didn't have a car. Breakfast at the hotel was simple - cereals, boiled eggs, bagels - but good.
