“It's okay”

Nothing real impressive, a typical budget hotel. Front desk staff was pleasant.

“enjoyed our stay”

Better than I would expect for a Super 8, hotel was clean, staff was helpful and friendly, only a few miles from the airport. The bed was very comfortable. There are several resturaunts within walking distance from the hotel as well.

“Good value for the cost”

Although this hotel wasn't the greatest hotel we've every stayed in. It was good value for the cost. Not fancy but a good place to stop for the night. Went to Wal-Mart not too far from the hotel and it was pretty dumpy. The location of the hotel was a bit tricky to find at first but it wasn't too far off the highway.

“Seen better days”

Staff was most helpful and friendly and room was clean. Hotel had an air of having seen more prosperous days; worn hall carpeting, some exterior doors out of alignment / didn't open & close properly, weather stripping on room doors in tatters or missing entirely, the bathroom sink in my room was chipped, cracked and leaked. Stay was inexpensive and I guess one gets what one pays for.

“Super 8 - Syracuse”

Excellent value for money. Rooms a little run down, but clean. Room was larger than I expected and had a microwave and mini fridge.

“You get what you pay for”

Quite frankly, for the $xx a night that we paid to stay in this hotel, we got what we paid for. This was during parents weekend at SU and hotel rates go through the roof so we got a great value staying at this hotel - 2 queen beds including coffee and breakfast. We were not planning to spend much time in the room so it was fine. The location can't be beat. The people who work there are very nice. The decor is tired, the mattresses too soft, the towels a bit threadbare, the shower had some cobwebs and they did not make our room up after we asked them to come back a little later. However, for the $$ it was a great choice for us.

“There's much better..”

This hotel is well located, however there are many better choices right next door. I've been already to a few of them, and I can say they are much cleaner and around the same price (maybe 10 to 15 dollars more and even less!). Take for instance, Motel 6, it's comfortable, cheaper and cleaner! Anyways, I had the idea to try another hotel to see if it could be better, now I know not to stay at the Super 8 Syracuse East...

“Cheap but adequate”

Not much to say except you get what you pay for. We wanted cheap, and cheap it is. But it is an adequate motel.

“Don't go here if you care!”

The man who checked us in at the service desk was actually wearing filthy and stained clothing. He gave us our card keys and they did not work and so we brought them back and he told us that sometimes the batteries in the door do not work and he addigned us a different room. All the carpets in the hotel were filthy and the window in the room was not in it's tracks and so when we tried to open it it would have actually fallen out of the window casing except for the fact that someone has screwed two screws into the window casing to hold it in. There were pubic hairs on the floor of the bathroom and the tub was dirty and room service was stationed outside our door waiting for us to leave hours before check out time and they kept asking us when we were going to check out so we felt VERY rushed.
