During the check-in I asked for parking options. Reception proposed own parking. On the question: can I park outside the Feedback was: it is public parking but at weekends for free. Three hours later I had a ticket as parking in front of the hotel is NOT allowed (stopping for checkin is possible). I asked three times for hotel manager - not available. Novotel staff always told me the same: parking at weekends possible. I cannot believe that people working in a hotel do not know parking rules in front of the hotel entrance. When trying to complain the feedback was: this is public parking and not their problem. If reception tells me that I can park there, I see responsibility with the hotel. A hotel should train their staff in a question which is raised by every guest with a car. A very unpleasant experience.

The property itself was very nice. Pool, sauna, and jacuzzi well maintained and enjoyable. We had a street facing room and the traffic noise was fairly loud. That is my only complaint. I’m sure a room away from the street would be quieter.

There was very strong horrible smell in all three rooms we tried at the hotel. The smell seemed to come out of the air condition and smelled like pesticides or drug. Rooms where badly cleaned, spots missed on many places on carpet, leftover food in mini fridge, male underwear in top shelf in wardrobe etc. There was no sheet on bed matress only sheet on the matress cover. The room had no brochures and no do not disturb sign and house keeping entered whenever they pleased while we slept. Other staff was pleasant and manager professional when we complained about smell and asked for a new room. But they could not provide room without the smell. The swimming pool area is the only reason you should choose this hotel but if you are expecting a 4 star hotel experience this is not the place for you. Avoid second floor.

Novotel Szczecin
Staff were very helpful, place was clean and tidy, breakfast was good. The only downside was my room was on the front of the hotel and there was quite a lot of noise from the Trams

Lovely stay
Very pleasant stay, room a bit noisy from street sounds but that’s expected as the hotel is in the town centre. Restaurant food top quality, room very clean, pillows very comfortable and two different thickness so you can choose your favourite or use both.

Nice, clean, pretty basic. The jacuzzi was closed, but the pool was nice. For some reason the complimentary water bottles were replaced completely at random - sometimes you got 1, sometimes 2, sometimes none at all. Excellent location, ok parking facility (10eur/night). The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. The tub is a bit high to get into, but the shower worked well, with hot water and plenty of water pressure. The bed was nice and firm and two different hardnesses of pillows were available. Still in decent condition, but in 1-2 years the rooms will need to be redone...

Would’ve been even better of a stay had the indoor pool been heated. Great staff, great room. We did not have to pay to park because we used a “city” parking space in front of the hotel. Please note that there are rules for the times permitted to use parking for free.

I stayed 2 nights at that hotel. I found stains on my pillow and bed, and even a black eyelash. Obviously nobody cleaned that room that day. I claimed another room. The bed was quiet clean there but the bin was full and it stank. Awful. Then receptionist offered my a higher class room which was fine. Bun unfortunately I shall never stay at that hotel again.

It was very good experience, the breakfasts were amazing, staff is very attenting and friendly. Rooms were medium standard but clean and reasonably priced. there was easiness walking around the city from that point.

Not as noisy as other reviews said
The hotel is quite great. I read reviews before where it said it was noisy so I was a bit concerned prior to check in, but I can now reassure you that it's nothing to worry about. It is a hotel located in the very city center so there are obviously noises of the city (street train, cars, people, etc) but nothing terrible as described in other reviews at all. If you are looking for absolute peace and quiet, book a hotel outside of the city in the forrest ;) Added plus for Starbucks within 2-3 min walk, as well as a mall with many restaurants (galeria kaskada) within 5-7 min walk.

Booked and paid full amount for 3 nights FRI-MON . Came on Saturday to found out that my room has been sold. No sorry or anything like it is my problem that they double sold one room. I was given room looking like "staff room" with 2 singles extra beds in it. wouldn't recommend at all.

Good hotel in a non-tourist spot!
The hotel was clean and the amenities were good. Beds were super comfortable! Parking was easy and breakfast was good standard. The area itself doesn't boast much tourist wise though, there is a great cocktail bar called 17 Schadow and a good Thai called Buddah.

Stopped here on a road trip through Poland. Good location, easy walk to the Old Town and River and next to a delicious Indian Restaurant. Room was pretty basic but clean and comfy. However, trying to call the "24 hour" reception to find out when breakfast started didn't work - we called three times and they never picked up the phone.

Enjoyable Stay in Szczecin
This hotel is a fantastic base from which to explore Szczecin and we had a great week here. The Staff were efficient and helpful, the room was reasonable, if a little tired, and the pool and jacuzzi were a real bonus. The Pool was on the cooler side but meant you could usually swim on your own, and whilst at busier times we had to wait 10 - 20 minutes to get in the jacuzzi, it was all hassle free - the sauna was very pleasant too. I cant comment on the fitness room as I didn't use it but it looked reasonable equipped and never seemed to busy. Breakfast was a comprehensive buffet of hot cold and preserved food and allowed us to try Polish food or stick to more familiar - which we varied each day - the fresh cooked omelettes were especially good. Not so into continental sausages so didn't really have a full English on offer - also no bacon, but the hams and cheeses were great. The hotel has a nice reception area and a very pleasant bar

Wonderful location, I will be back!
Traveling on my own and with limited Polish, I could not have been happier! I felt secure at the Hotel, was helped very much by the staff and was able to travel all about this beautiful city with no problems whatsoever. Wonderful breakfast buffet and lounge area, very nice sauna.

Convenient Central Hotel
Two night stay in the city. Parking is expensive but carpark stays very warm. Issues with breakfast - promised freshly squeezed orange juice came from the bottled jug on the counter. Gave up on ordering the eggs - just too slow and disorganised. Complaint made no difference.
