An attractive suburb 15 km north of Stockholm, Taby boasts some impressive historical structures. Runestones from the first century can be found here from early Germanic tribes. The Taby Church dates back to the 13th century and features paintings from Swedish medieval painter Albertus Pictor. In addition to buses, an urban railway system, Roslagsbanan, connects Taby to other parts of Stockholm.
