Komfortables Hotel in Flughafennähe

Posted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: Der Flughafenshuttle ist ein großer Pluspunkt
Location: Seatac Airport
Zu Fuss kann man nicht hingehen, aber das Hotelshuttle holt Gäste zuverlässig ab. Es empfiehlt sich, vorher anzurufen oder eine Mail zu schreiben, um Abholzeiten auszumachen.

Non-Smoking Hotel?

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: Beds were nice
Cons: hotel not charging extra if their description doesn't match what you signed up for...
Location: Auburn, WA... a lot of restaurants nearby
I requested a non-smoking room and our room reeked of cigarette smoke. They assured me that the hotel was all non-smoking, but this room I guess no one noticed it, or did anything to try to lessen the smell. I told the front desk and they said I'd have to pay the upgrade fee in order to get another room. I wasn't thrilled and am not sure if I will come back here again.

Don't Take the Plunge for Jacuzzi Suite

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: Arrive early the breakfast is quite good, but very crowded during prime breakfast time. Close to Wild Waves, many stores, restaurants, and I-5 access.
Cons: The cleanliness of the Jacuzzi tubs in Jacuzzi Suites
Location: Close to access I-5, Wild Waves, shopping (Walmart), within 15 mins to Muckleshoot Casino and Emerald Queen in Fife and Tacoma.
We were not intending to spend much time in our room, but did splurge on the Jacuzzi suite because a relaxing jacuzzi bath is always relaxing, we don't have one at home. The jet areas of the tub were filthy. The second night we stayed we arrived back after 9pm and all I wanted to do was take a hot bath and was so disappointed when I took a closer look at the jetted tup and the jets were black, brown dirty. Did not want to have housekeeping come to the room at such the late hour so informed the front desk about housekeepings need to pay more attention to the jetted tubs cleaning. The room was prepaid through Expedia so they offered to add extra Best Western Reward points to my account. Still haven't seen the added points. If you spring for the Jacuzzi Suite check the tub before soaking. Also RINSE EVERY PART of the in room coffee maker, I rinsed the carafe, lid, and mugs, but after preparing the coffee and taking a sip realized the filtered coffee pod holder and area where you pour the water must have had residue cleaner on them because the coffee just tasted awful like cleaning solution. Also because of the family friendly atmosphere, lots of kids every time we've stayed, so if possible top floor room recommended to avoid the pitter patter thumping of kids overhead.

Amazing shuttle driver!!

Posted Jul 10, 2015
Walter the shuttle driver came to pick up my family and I at the hospital after we were in a horrible car accident. He helped with all our baggage and after asking my daughters permission, he carried her into the room because she was too hurt to walk. His kind words and actions were way beyond my expectations.

The hotel was clean and the staff were nice. We got upgraded to a suite for free. The pool is small and in a little tiny enclosed room and the hot tub was about the same temperature as the pool. The breakfast was good. The hotel is close to the highway and lots of shopping.

Great location to the freeway but not noisy.

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Location, style of lobby area, comfort and cleanliness.
Cons: The couch in our room was a bit dated and the phones were really old and not in working order. Not that we needed them.
Location: The location is so easy to get to off the freeway and really close to the shopping and food areas.
We were happy with this hotel and were relieved there was not any bad smells in our room. The room was great for a small space and it suited our family of six very well. The pool was small but adequate enough for our whole group of 12 and some others in there as well. The only problem was the temperature in the pool room, it was so hot you could barely breath unless you were in the pool. However the nice guy that brought pool towels allowed us to leave the side door open and that was very helpful. The hot tub was out of order, but with the heat it was not really a concern.

Average in every way, barely.

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Location: Quite a ways from downtown Seattle.
Broken shower control. Moldy caulk. Hand towel supplied for floor mat. Slightly better than motel 6. Rated as 3 star, which is a bit of a stretch, especially for the price.
