Yes, I would recommend this hotel. Location is good (close to freeway, but no noise and close to other interesting things (e.g. down town and old Tacoma)

Nice Hotel With Added Perks

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: The nice perks that this hotel offers is a huge selling point. Free parking, a free buffet style hot breakfast and free wi-fi.
Cons: They have an overflow parking lot for the hotel but the lighting is very dim. It would feel more safe and secure if there was more lighting.
Location: Close to Tacoma City Center and Tacoma Dome. Lemay Auto Museum and Chihuly Glass Museum are great things to add to your list of things to see and do.
My stay at this hotel was great. I've stayed here before and it is my preference when I stay in Tacoma. The rooms are clean and pleasant, the beds are very comfortable, and hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Although this hotel is a bit of a distance to walk from downtown, the Tacoma link light rail stops just a couple of blocks from the hotel and takes you right into the heart of Tacoma. I highly recommend the Best Western Tacoma Dome Hotel if you're in the area.

1 night stay

Pros: Staff good service and. Location
Cons: Maybe more bar staff when they know a concert is going on next door
Location: Located next to the Tacoma Dome and Sounder train station
Stayed here one night to go to a concert. The hotel was packed but the hotel staff did an excellent job as was well prepared. Check in was a breeze and the staff very helpful. The only thing on the down side was the slow service in the bar, but in defense of that they were swamped with everyone wanting a drink before going to the concert at the. Same time. Great service over all would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Location: Point Defiant park, glass museum, Washington history museum,
The staff was courteous, the room we were in was not too comfortable. (Two double beds). Great Breakfast! Close to the freeway. Very quiet!

Disappointed in overall cleanliness. Upon arrival, noticed the "cover-let" was stained and dirty. It appeared to have dried barf on it. I removed it and placed it on the floor. The next day after room cleaning, that same dirty linen was placed back on the bed with the stained side up and fully visible - unbelievable... I completely understand the want to be "green", but not at the expense of cleanliness. My room faced the west. After a long day at work, I'd return to my room to find that the cleaning staff had turned off the A/C, opened the curtains fully and the temperature in the room was over 90 degrees. It took several hours for the room to then cool off - and it could only do that after the sun had set. Not a pleasing "return" to say the least.

Okay Hotel but in the Middle of Nowhere

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: The staff were helpful.
Cons: The hotel needs to be modernized but given its location, I'm not sure that would help.
Location: It was in the middle of an industrial area with just a few small restaurants near by. Other than that, there was nothing that was walkable.
All of the Staff at the Hotel was Very helpful. They went out of their way to be helpful and should be commended. We appreciated that. The Hotel was next to the Tacoma Dome and that would have been helpful if we had attended anything at the Dome but we didn't. The Hotel was nice but in a very old part of Tacoma with railroad tracks on both sides of the hotel. I would be afraid to walk in the area after dark.
