sweat smell

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Cons: Replace the carpet maybe.
Location: Great location.
The room smelled liked a team of athletes stay in it. It smelled like body sweat. The front desk said that she would tell the manager.

Not ready

Posted Aug 4, 2014
This hotel is not well kept. First of all you have to check in late only at 3 pm most places I been able to do it by noon. I left my bags and arrived late after 5 pm and I was given a room that was not ready and I had to move around the hotel with a trolley full of bags with no one to help to the secondly assigned room. The quality of the room??? No comments

Not what it used to be.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Maintenance and having enough staff. Mildew along ceiling in bathroom. No knob on microwave.
Location: The Commons are very close. Dennys had a great breakfast. Went to a Mariners game.
We stayed here when they last completed a remodel. It was wonderful. Now it seems to be less wonderful. Beds are ok...room was nice. However, while the staff was nice, they were extremely understaffed. Pool was not unlocked and when finally unlocked there were no towels. When they brought towels, they brought three. Really? The breakfast was much lower quality than it had been. They ran out of everything. We left and came back later...same problem. No forks and spoons and milk jno coffee creamer for nearly an hour. Long waits for restocking. We finally gave up. Only two people were working on breakfast. The hotel was very full to have only two people working the breakfast. The last time everything was fresh and delicious. This time the quality was not there. We travel to Seattle area often and would only consider this hotel if nothing else was available.

What????

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Convenient to our yearly event. OK rooms and breakfast
Cons: MANAGEMENT!!!
My experience checking in was fine, but after that was chaos. Checkin time is 3pm; my friends arrived at 4 and their room (they did have a reservation) was not ready. We could not for the life of us get a cab ~ apparently they do not exist in Federal Way. The whole point was to meet up and cab to an event. While we were at the front desk trying to figure out a cab solution (even with all the troubles, the hotel transport would not take us the 3 miles to our event ~ we asked), a couple came down and said there was someone in their room. Another man in line said that happened to him last time. While the facilities were fine, the management needs serious work.

Not Bad

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Close to highway and many restaurants/stores.
We stayed here on our visit to Seattle. It was not bad. Not great either. It was obvious that the hotel was older. The town was nice. For visiting Seattle, Federal Way is still too far. The hotel is surrounded by many eating options and stores. It feels safe. Walking out of the lobby and being greeted by Mt Ranier is just awesome.
