Terrible, dirty hotel feet from an airport

The hotel staff was extremely unfriendly and the hotel itself was is disrepair. It was only a few feet from an airport and a casino, in a rundown part of town. The room smelled musty and the bed was not the size that we booked. The bathroom was a complete nightmare. It was dirty and the shower curtain was moldy. The toilet wasn't secured to the floor and the ceiling lights and fan were unfinished. The mattress was ancient and you sank into the middle when you laid in it. The appliances were at least 20 years old and didn't work well at all either. The "breakfast" consisted of cereal and frozen bagels, in a cramped room with only a few tables and no air-conditioning.

Cons: Maybe a little TLC.
It was a nice place to stay. Close to the track. The waffles for the continental breakfast were great. The pool was kept in good shape to.

Noise through out the night. We were unable to get a good night sleep. Smokers table setup right outside our room.

Convenient location for my business trips, but...

Pros: Location.
Cons: Attention to detail. Housekeeping forgot to replace the soap. The front desk doesn't answer the phone. TV picture is fuzzy.
Location: The location is great with restaurants, etc. nearby.
It needs to be updated big time. The TV has a bad picture, staff is not available to answer the phone, reluctant to clean the room. I didn't have a sign on my door the first night but my room wasn't cleaned. I had to leave the "Change the Sheets" card on the bed to get them to clean it. Then, of course they forgot to replace the soap and the front desk didn't answer the phone, so I had to go down there myself to get it. It's reasonable for a necessary stay, but not anyone's first choice.

Not what I expected from a Days Inn

The really should not be listed as a hotel but as an apartment complex. The toilet in bathroom kept flooding. The area was not the best in Auburn.

We take our computers with us on vacation and there was not enough table space to set them both us. A small table and chair in room would have been nice.

One of the things I take into consideration when staying somewhere is the money saved on breakfast. Don't be fooled there is NO breakfast here not even bread or bagels

Pros: price
Cons: staff
Stayed for 3 nights. Day 2 we asked hotel maids to come back to clean. They don't speak English and never returned. Continental breakfast was vary disappointing! 1st you have to go to the office to get a spate key. I flagged another guest to open the door and was then rudely scolded by staff for doing so. They also skimp on coffee supplies in the room. I do not recommend a stay here.
