Not the best

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Both of the rooms I reserved we're very dirty. They had socks under the bed and empty bag of chips. There was never room service in our 3 day stay. We had to take our own trash out.

Lacking Value

Posted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: I can usually find something good so I will say I did not fear for my life. That's about it.
Cons: Train staff in hospitality and customer service. Other improvements such as beds, change in location aren't practical.
I am a frequent traveler and am usually not very demanding and realize I get what I pay for. Extended Stay-Fife did not meet my expectations as a "value-priced" hotel. We arrived at 10 PM. We reserved a king size bed and were given a room with 2 full size beds. Desk clerk was unsympathetic but offered to cancel our reservation and suggested we scoot the beds together (furniture placement in the room made this impractical. We asked for a suggestion to get drinks before calling it a night and were told there was a Denny's nearby and the next best locations were in Tacoma and Federal Way (a few miles away). Denny's didn't serve drinks and the casino was about a mile away. Why didn't the clerk tell us? We had a room just down the hall from the front desk. The full size bed was uncomfortable and we could hear laughter coming from the desk until around midnight. Also, this property is located a literal stone's throw from I-5 and the traffic is loud all night.

Clean and safe. Good location for access to I5

Posted Apr 1, 2015 on Hotels
I have stayed at this location before. The price is right. The location is a little noisy. The staff was accomodating and friendly. It is a clean, safe place to spend the night. If you are looking for amenities like a pool, restaurant or bar this is not for your. It is designed for a long term stay at a reasonable cost. The kitchen area is very functional and cooking utensils are available upon request.

Difficult to find; nice room but broken plumbing

Posted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: I liked the friendly staff plus the clean and comfortable room. I loved having a kitchen. They were prompt about unclogging the toilet.
Cons: The hardware you raise and lower to have water stay or drain from the bathroom sink was broken. They tried to fix it, but failed.
The staff were very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I really liked having a fridge and microwave. Upon request they gave me plates, silverware, and dish washing soap, in a tidy container. WIFI was free, and there was plenty of storage space. But there were plumbing problems (see below). The real problem for me was that while cab drivers had no trouble finding Extended Stay America in Fife, three different Tacoma/Seattle friends gave me rides back to the hotel, and they all got lost trying to find it. One was lost for an hour. I checked out early in frustration.

Ghetto-

Posted Feb 25, 2015 on Hotels
The best way to describe this Hotel would be the "ghetto life of Zack and Cody". In disrepair, smells of animals urine, dog poo in parking lot, short term public housing. Dirty carpets, fridge off when we came into room. Wall are paper thin, no privacy.
