Excellent customer service. We had multiple family members staying and they got us all on the same floor. We had a conference room booked for a family gathering and it was set up and ready in advance.

We did not get the room that was booked. Upon arrival I was told the only room available was for hearing impaired. The mattresses were low and very saggy. The room was ok but nothing to return to.

Hotel is nice and clean. I had two bad nights because my neighbors were watching the television very loud till at least 12:30 am both nights. I am pretty sure the interior walls have no insulation/sound barrier. Definitly will chose other hotels in the area moving forward.

Upon late arrival the room we reserved was waiting for us. Great desk people! Breakfast was the best. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious.

The room was clean and nice. But RIGHT on the highway so very loud. Somehow we got marked down for a handicap only room and couldnt be moved which is kinda sucked. For breakfast they didnt really have many options. They only had bacon no other meat options at all. Check in and out was great. The staff was great. The rooms was clean and spacious. If i was in the area I'd stay again.

The first thing we were told was that linen is normally changed every three days. Then we get a note that holiday staffing will be reduced for holidays. The a/c malfunctions at 2AM waking ever periodically jamming apparently. The bathroom does not vent. There are no USB ports on the night stands. There are no night lights to navigate the totally blackened rooms. Have you ever tried to find a commode in the back corner of a room in pitch black? The tub water valve doesn't shut completely without a wrench. We begged for towels. The carpet was never vacuumed. We only slept in the room , but paid full price despite "short staffing". The breakfast buffet was awful. Coffee cups and juice cups were rare. We ate off paper plates and flimsy plastic utensils. The weekend desk clerk was so engrossed in his computer screen you could have walked in with a gorilla and he wouldn't have noticed.

My room was noisy...not sure what it was...sounded like someone dragging stuff acrossed the floor..it was a hotel noise...weird...all night. Breakfast was terrible...no coffee and hardly any food. It was busy. Probably would stay somewhere else next time.

Pros: 1. Conveniently near the fair. I sprang for the $50 VIP parking next to the gold gate and regretted it because I could have walked there in the same amount of time given the snarled traffic. 2. The bedding was really comfortable to the point that I wanted to but did not steal the sheets and comforter. Cons: 1. The bathroom floor is extremely slippery when wet and there are no mats. Getting out of the shower requires some caution if you value not falling. 2. There is a wooden shelf filled with brochures hanging to the left of the room's work bench that is positioned perfectly to crack the elbow of a left-handed mouse user. I unhooked it from the screws and set it on the floor then rehung it when I left because it was that annoying. The upshot: Yes, I would definitely stay at this hotel again, but I'd bring a rubber mat for the bathroom and take the Elbow Smashing Shelf off the wall first thing. Also if the sheets and comforter somehow go missing I will assert that someone else did it.
