Accommodated Well in Puyallup

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: The friendliness of the staff, the pool and athletic comforts. The beds were really lovely!
Cons: The rooms and hotel colors were dark and depressing! The toilet ran
Location: This looked like a fun little place to explore.. we didn't have time on this trip!
Our beds were amazing comfort wise. The mattress and linens were extremely comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. The pool, work-out room and jacuzzi were wonderful.. This Hampton Inn was within walking distance of the county fairgrounds where The Passover Seder was held.we went up there for. A very nice morning breakfast was served.

Convenient

Good clean business hotel with great service. Close to the Puyallup downtown and business district. Easy access to the highway and walking distance to the fair ground entrance. Friendly staff and the hotel has the big five (free parking, internet, gym, pool and breakfast). One last thing, they have a nice clean laundry facility to wash your clothes if you are there for an extended period. The hotel was spotless!

Great Hotel ...close to the fairgrounds

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: The breakfast that was included was a bonus. It was a good mix of food and different both days
All of the staff at this hotel were friendly and most helpful. But Jennifer the manager was AMAZING. The hotel was close to the the fairgrounds - 3 block walk - it was spotless, but it really was everyone that worked there that made our stay so pleasurable.

Convenient to the Fairgrounds

Posted Feb 28, 2015
We stayed here overnight to attend Sew Expo 2015. Our experience was very pleasant with one exception. The room was right above the lobby and a short corridor away from the elevators. Room 223, the room in question is a handicapped room. We didn't request a handicapped room. We don't need a handicapped room. We heard the ding of the elevator and the swish of the front lobby doors all night long. If we had stayed another night, we would have asked for another room. To be fair, our experience with the hotel staff was extremely positive, perhaps a 6 or even a 7 on a 1-5 scale. Each and every member of staff was attentive and informative, with a positive attitude and sunny disposition. We'd like to commend this Hampton Inn for hiring quality staff and/or for excellent training. Although you didn't ask, the breakfast selection far exceeded our expectations. We would stay at the Hampton Inn in Puyallup again in a heartbeat, and will recommend it to our friends.

Close to Fairgrounds, shopping, food.

Pros: Location
Cons: Dark rooms.
Location: Fairground activities.
Overall OK. Staff was friendly. Room was OK, but felt dark and tomb-like. Upper floor suites only way to go here.

Easy Access to the Fairgrounds

Posted Feb 5, 2015
Pros: The room was clean and well-equipped. I appreciated the extra cotton blanket. I can not sleep under a down comforter, as they are unbearably hot.
I was warmly greeted, and everything went well upon check-in. I used the spa, and there were plenty of towels, etc. The facility was a basic 3-Star motel, so what do you expect? Breakfast was ghastly. I could not find the coffee, and was finally told to "go get some in the lobby". So, I had to leave my not-so-hot breakfast on a table to go find the coffee. The "scrambled eggs" were a "fluffy yellow substance", with no flavor at all. The "orange juice" looked watery, and again, had no flavor at all. Tasteless orange juice...yeah, really. The bacon had "real smoke flavor", but not "bacon" flavor. The "blueberry" muffins had blobs of "blue goo", not blueberries...and they were straight-from-the-freezer cold. I understand that the motel is trying to offer a wide selection, but how about a smaller selection and higher quality?

Quiet, clean, and convenient

Posted Feb 3, 2015
Nothing extravagant about this hotel. However, it was very clean and I did not have any issues at all. The staff were friendly and courteous. There is a pool, but I did not use it. Convenient location if you want to walk to the Puyallup fairgrounds.
