Worth the short stay

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Convenience, location, quality, spacious room.
A real treat for my daughter and I after enjoying the fireworks at Commencement Bay in Tacoma. Courteous staff. Artwork eye-catching. Upgrades all over the place, yet blend in to an overall feel of quality. We'll be back.

Dear Thomas, Thanks for the great feedback and I am happy to hear that you and your daughter had an enjoyable visit. I am glad also that you had a chance to enjoy the artwork and other amenities that we have to offer. The biggest compliment that we can receive is hearing that "We'll be back..." so thank you for that! Stan Kott, General Manager

So beautiful and comfortable

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: The glass, the nice light in the room, the freaking awesome view out the window.
Cons: Just those pesky elevators. I think that's what they were dong -- improving them -- so one was closed.
Location: Don't know, this was a conference so I didn't get out much. Had a great time though!
Loved everything about this hotel, including good green consciousness ( small recycle bin in the room, 3 choices on eco-maid service). The only issue was that one elevator was out and the group I was with found that inconvenient (I'm one of those wackos who takes the stairs up & down for the cardio benefit). The glass collection was fantastic, really added to the whole experience.

Thanks for the 5-star review Joan. We really appreciate your feedback and I am happy that you had a great experience while attending your conference. Hopefully, you'll have an opportunity to return sometime in more of a "leisure-mode" so that you can take advantage of all the activities and sights that Pierce County and Tacoma have to offer. Until then, thanks again. Stan Kott, General Manager

The hotel was nice in a nice area. Close to things downtown and only 12 minute taxi to Emerald Queen Casino.

Great location

I had a terrific experience at the Murano. I am very grateful to the staff because I left a jacket and pair of pants hanging in the closet. I called, they found them and shipped them to my home address the next day. Super Service. Thank You!!

Overpriced

Posted May 13, 2014
You are paying for the nice lobby and artwork. But once in your room they forgot to include comfort. The beds were average at best, and the tv is not worth watching. I think 4 stars is too high once you include the room. This is a $120 room not $180.

Dear Martin, Please accept my apologies for your less than satisfactory experience. We do have a wide variety of rooms and suites with many designs and furniture lay-outs. If you were to give us another opportunity to serve you, I am sure that we could find something more to your liking. I do hope that we will have the opportunity to serve you again in the future. Great location, close to where I wanted to be

Posted May 6, 2014
Pros: Nice comfortable beds, Nice restaurant and very friendly staff
Location: Great location, close to downtown and within walking distance of good restaurants and museums
I was pleased that they refunded a parking fee which had been mistakenly added to my account. This was from a driver who parked while visiting the area and had used my room # for 2 days. The lady at the desk had no hesitation in cancelling the charges

Close to the party we were going to

Posted Apr 22, 2014
Pros: The glass, modern, clean
Cons: The bathroom was totally non- functional design, cramped, no shelf space, room was pretty small
Location: Auto Museum
Checked in in the afternoon, went to a party nearby, spent the night, had brunch in the morning
