Pleasant

Pros: Free wifi in lobby and restaurant area/pool area which is always a bonus.
Bit run down lookin gon the outside but facitlies i.e pool, restaurant and room was superb. Very happy with room - sea veiw with jacuzzi. Bathroom was lovely. Ate twice in the restaurant in the evening. Once from the menu and once on the Friday evening buffet. Would highly recommend menu, was slightly let down by standard of buffet although there was more than ample of choice.

Overpriced

Cons: Food service. Transfer service to and from airport, which I was told was provided when I booked the room. No transfer service.
Location: Beach view
Very poor restaurant and service. Breakfast waited an hour for service, finally just left without being waited on. Supper food poor, did not feel well after eating. Waitress took water glasses from several tables to refill. Not sure correct glass was returned to right customer. No other places nearby to eat.

Pros: The relaxed environment.
Cons: Expensive meals and drinks.
Location: Our best trip as the Morea lagoon trip. Crystal water swimming with stingrays and yellow tip sharks, bbq with cultural rawfish coconut salad.
We loved the lagoon setting and that there were plenty of fitness activities available. The staff were friendly and helpful. The weather was perfect and the locals were great. We felt Tahiti was expensive but that was the same all around the island. Beautiful Island, Morea was breathtaking as well. We would have liked more time and more money to visit more of the islands. We are hoping that the Raddison stays as a resort and dosent change to residential apartments. Regards the Aussies

Pros: They made tour reservations for us The restaurant manager KIKI WAS very accommodating at every meal he was just great and the pool was fabulous
Cons: maybe rooms closer to the restaurant if available
Location: the tour of the island was wonderful Also take the shuttle downtown to walk around and see the huge market
we arrived very late and there was a pleasant person there to check us in and a porter who took us to our room this was all done after midnight

Had a very nice time. We were upgraded to a suite which was gorgeous. Beautiful view. The food was not quite what we were used to and very pricy, but on par with other hotels and restaurants.

Returning from a cruise; used this as a good stop over for the day; awaiting evening flight back to LA. Enjoyed the room and nice pool; nice setting reasonably close to Papeete. Staff were very nice and helpful..

After a month of traveling French Polynesia, the Radisson Plaza was our last stop on the way home. After prying yourself away from the other islands kicking and screening, the Radisson is a bit depressing. I think it would be a great budget conscious place to start your trip to FP. I would suggest splurging on one of the 2 level suites to treat yourself to an amazing view your first morning in FP. The reception service is great. The free wifi in the lobby is great. If you have a laptop you can ask the front desk for a cable for free wired internet in your room. If you are just returning from visiting the other islands your experience might be tainted and much different than that upon your arrival in Tahiti. The hotel had made efforts to renovate the rooms but the renos are just superficial. Cleanliness in not to par with most other resorts we visited. On weekends the property is loud and busy, especially by the pool. Local residents hang out at the public beach outside playing music that travels up to the rooms. The breakfast buffet is plentiful but not very good. It's even more expensive than some 5 star resorts we stayed in. If you want to explore Papeete or eat outside the hotel you will need to rent a car or reserve a spot on the shuttle a day in advance. Stay at the Radisson at the beginning of your trip, not at the end.

Horrible service, waste of money!

I would not recommend this hotel. The service is the worst I've ever experienced. There was mold growing on ceiling in room, the show was so bad and the waiters don't care or remember they have to serve your food after you order it! It took over two hours the first night to get our dinner and we were the very first ones in the dining room!hirrible!

Very disappointing for the money this cost. Service at the restaurant was abysmal, the menu was appalling. Cigarette ends by the pool and tiles coming off or missing on the pool floor. Not a nice beach. Loads of children screaming that obviously were not residents. Difficult to get a sun bed. Check your bill carefully. For the first time EVER I was charged a resort fee. On my hotel.com site my price was supposed to be inclusive. All in all will not return to this hotel.
