Good for an overnight layover

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable, inexpensive. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Signage for those arriving on foot (of course, it's possible there was a sign and we just couldn't see it in the dark).
Location: Right next to the airport.
This is a minimalist hotel right next to the airport. It's clean, comfortable (although only a sheet on the bed so don't set the a/c too low), and inexpensive. You can walk to it (it's really not that bad of a walk, less than 5 minutes from the airport) although I don't recommend doing so at night unless you're adventurous (there are no street lights and it's not obviously marked--we made it so it's doable, but some people might be uncomfortable in the dark). You have to go up a hill, but there are stairs and you have to cross two roads but there are crosswalks and the drivers are nice enough to stop for you. The most confusing part is the winding driveway that only has a tiny sign up high on the wall that says "Hotel" (and you can’t actually see the hotel due to the hill and the wall). This is actually a driveway for some homes but has footpath to the hotel. They did have a sign at the top of the driveway with an arrow so we knew we'd gone the right way. Everything about the room was fine but nothing special. The internet was pretty slow. There was a fridge if you need one. They also included a continental breakfast starting at 5:30am for those on early flights. Good for an overnight but I wouldn't make it your main vacation stay (unless you are looking for inexpensive but decent spot--on the plus side you have a very short walk to a taxi stand at the airport).

Great Hotel next to the airport

Posted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: Very convenient close to the airport and downtown Papeete.
Great location close to the airport. The room was very clean, bright and spacious. The staff very accomodating. They provide the transportation (at your cost) to and from any place downtown Papeete. I recommend this hotel for a short stay in Papeete, between air-tranfer to the other islands.

Great for over night!

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: The location across from the terminal
Location: Nothing here but you can take the bus into Papeete in 15 minutes
This motel is right across the street from the terminal. You can walk to it in 3 minutes. Just cut through the parking lot and you will see stairs heading up to the road. Cross the road and take the drive way up. If you have a lot of luggage, the taxi can take you there in two minutes. It is very basic, great for early flight départes from Papeete to the islands. Good Continental Breakfast. I stayed two nights. The bus into town takes 15 minutes, 200 XPF. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Good for an overnighter between flights

Posted Aug 19, 2014
The hotel is perfect if you have to spend the night on Tahiti between flights. It is very close to the airport and a taxi is not necessary unless you have lots of luggage or dislike a lot of steps and a hill. The hotel is clean, the staff was quite friendly, and some spoke English. I would not suggest the hotel as your main place if you're going to be on the island a couple of days, though. It gets airport and street noise when the window's open, there is no pool, and it's just basically a place to sleep.

Great for an airport layover

Posted Aug 15, 2014
The place has what you need. A basic but very clean and seemingly new (or updated) room. What could be improved would be a couple of things missing: 1. Refrigerator not turned on. If you are only staying for a quick overnight, it's basically useless 2. Ice machine not working. 3. No linens except a sheet. If you like to sleep with AC like I do but get chilly in the middle of the night, a light comforter would be nice Good things. You can walk to the Chinese restaurant or a couple of food trucks for dinner but after 7:00pm note that the grocery store that is convenient, closes so no beer except at the Chinese restaurant. Overall, I would use it again for an overnight waiting for a morning flight out. We stored our bags at the airport so we could easily walk up the hill to the hotel.

Close to airport

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Conveniently close to airport and didn't require a taxi to get to.
Cons: Nothing really, except maybe a ramp to go up to the lobby instead of stairs.
Location: The hotel is uphill so it does take some effort to carry your luggage from the airport to the hotel.
The hotel was clean and conveniently located across the street from the airport. Would stay there again for an overnight layover.

Just stayed over for one night on our way to Bora Bora. Wasn't anything special but was very convenient as it is directly across the street from the airport.

So so convenient. Comfortable, clean and basic

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Locality, views and reasonable price considering costs in Tahiti
Location: We ate at the locale Chinese restaurant - interesting and genuine experience...walked to a large supermarket close by. Not a pretty neighborhood
It was an ideal place to walk to from the airport. We landed at 2 in the morning and within half an hour we were in a comfortable bed!

Nice motel close to the airport

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Booked the room due to an 11 hour layover in Tahiti, and we're happy we did so. The room was clean and nice, but lacking a hair dryer for my wife. The bed was a too low for my size, as I'm over 6 feet tall, but fine for the misses. The staff was friendly and informative, also the building is a stone toss away from the airport. Satisfied customer.

Convenient to airport

Posted Jul 1, 2014
We had a late flight in from LA and just wanted somewhere close to crash so we could wake up the next day and begin our trip. You definitely get what you pay for. Tiny bath towels,no soap, 2 pillows, just a few amenities that I am used to were not provided. Again, the least expensive hotel out of our trip. At least we got a free bfast of baguettes and croissants!
