Quiet stay, great breakfast, friendly service

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, friendliness and good food.
Cons: Improve plumbing on the older cottages. Water pressure fluctuated.
Location: Quieter west shore, but only minutes from coffee/gelato cafe, deli, pizza pub and nice walks to the beach at Sugar Pine State Park.
These cottages are away from most of the hustle & bustle of Lake Tahoe. The staff are very friendly and they cook up a very tasty breakfast. I even bought their cookbook as a souvenir! The cottages are clean, simple, and rustic - just perfect for a stay at the lake.

Superb B&B. Separate cottages for guest.

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: The separate cottages make this B&B an outstanding place to stay.
Cons: My only suggestion would be for all the cottages to have at least one easy chair or love seat. The two wooden kitchen chairs are uncomfortable. So b
Location: Outstanding places to eat, talk with the staff. Sight seeing is great, check out the museums in the area. The closest one being the Maritime Museum.
B&B staff are so warm and friendly you immediately feel relaxed and that you belong there. The food is wonderful with plenty of variety. The cottages are well kept and cozy. Bring your own folding chairs which you find comfortable. Most cottages only have a couple wooden kitchen chairs to sit in.

birthday celebration

our new Tahoe favorite! Best customer service, from all the staff, that we've seen in......I don't even remember when. Awesome surroundings, delicious breakfasts and a rustic but cozy cabin will definitely bring us back. I would recommend this b & b to anyone--you won't be disappointed!

Wonderful Stay

Wonderful stay in beautiful Tahoe! Our cabin was cozy and adorable. Great fireplace and claw foot tub. Loved the decorations in the main cabin, and breakfast was delicious. Very close to amazing hiking and vistas plus great restaurants. Would come back again.

Wonderful cottage b&bs

Posted Oct 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
My husband and I went to Tahoe during the government shutdown and had to extend our stay at Tahoma Meadows b&b cabins. It was a remarkable stay. The hospitality was first rate. The food was excellent. Breakfast was wonderful and the snacks in the evening were truly a treat. The cottages were extremely nice in a beautiful area near great hiking spots including Emerald Bay,SugarPine Point, a short drive to Tahoe City and many other gorgeous spots. We were amazed at the area. The Tahoma Meadows b&b cottages exceeded all of our expectations and took away the sting of our canceled trip to Yosemite.

Captures the essence of rustic Lake Tahoe

Posted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: The breakfast is delightful and very delicious! The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and accomodating. It is well taken care of and very clean.
Location: Across the street from Tahoma Market. Public beaches close by. North: Homewood, Sunnyside, TahoeCity. South: Sugar Pine Point, Meeks Bay, Emerald Bay
If you're looking to enjoy a nice, peaceful, beautiful, yet rustic atmosphere that is truly the essence of Lake Tahoe, then look no further. This place has just that! We stayed in the Bear's Den, which essentially is a bedroom, closet and bathroom. Very quaint, quite comfortable with a queen bed (we will upgrade to a King room next time), we loved the breakfast that came with our room reservation. The breakfasts were delicious, and should not be missed. Served by very friendly staffers, you get to meet the other people staying there, and enjoy their adventures, and plans for the day. We stayed at Tahoma Meadows as an overflow place where our family reunion was taking place in Meeks Bay, only 5 minutes down the road. Weren't we the lucky ones to have this peaceful respite, to take a little break from the 15 others at the family cabin! If you're looking for high-end schwankiness, this is not for you; but if you want to enjoy the ambiance of the Lake Tahoe-West shore casual, pleasant, loveliness, this is definitely the right place!

Faultless experience at Lake Tahoe

Posted Sep 19, 2013
Pros: Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Comfortable and well equipped cottage. Great breakfast. Good, quiet location. Lots of information
Cons: Hard to fault but the cottage smelt a bit damp. Maybe due to extract in bathroom which goes off when light switched off.
Location: West Lake Tahoe. Less commercialised than South, quieter, prettier. Hiking, watersports, skiing, cycling, lounging in the sun (garden or beach)
American B&B at its best. Picturesque, charming refurbished cottages in wooded area behind the house. Welcoming and very knowledgeable staff, full of information about things to do in the area, what and where to eat. Everyone was treated as a friend, and many many guests were returning for an annual stay having either married or lived in the area. The cottage was warm, cosy, roomy and comfortable and decorated in a style that suited the whole place. We have stayed in some amazing places in America but for the sheer feeling of being taken care of, this takes the biscuit.

Perfect "Old Tahoe" getaway

Posted Jun 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Loved the homey atmosphere and the world-class breakfast. Friendly, smiling staff made us welcome in what felt like their own home. Our cottage was clean, with a great bed and the wonderful ambiance of a rustic vacation (with all the amenities). We will return without question! It is close to the Desolation Wilderness trailhead; Bliss state park beach (dive, snorkle, swim, camp); and Tahoe City. It is quiet, friendly, and romantic. There is no downside here.
